That's good news Cafc, I'm counting down the days until I can evict this baby, I think pregnancy really isn't for me! Can't believe you've only got 3 weeks to go, have you decided on a definate name? I'm sure I can remember you being torn between two L names? (don't quote me on this I have prolly got you confused with someone!)
Sir M: I'm very tempted to copy you with the BBQ gota go shopping later may grab a disposable BBQ and some burgers and have that for tea. I made me and OH salad sarnies for lunch and managed to smash 2 plates and a bowl so obviously I'm not safe in the kitchen now!0 -
Hello All
husband still has this stomach bug - house now stinks of bleach as I have made him bleach the whole toilet every time he goes - I dont want the bug, got him some tablets from pharmacist today and see was reluctant to sell them to me as I was pregnant reassured her I was a) buying them for hubby b) a nurse and asked for the medication by name so knew I couldnt take them and c) not stupid enough to put myself at risk and equally if you need those tablets you cant stray far from a loo and I wouldnt have been in the chemist!!!
Husband did manage the 10min drive to collect the crib loo before and mad dash when we got back.
The area we got it from wasnt overly nice (not being a snob but hey) and she was a smoker as house stank but crib is in very good condition so got it home chuck matress, washed the crib (its a pine swinging one from babies r us) with disinfectant rinsed it off and left out all day in sun and its fine - just got to buy a new matress now think they are about £15.0 -

congrats Skint on the birth of your little man!
Good for you Cafc getting some fresh air, I sat outside earlier in the shade, had come in just felt like I was boiling over. Am sat on the bed with the air con on me reading my hypnobirth book.
Such beautiful weather but I just feel like such a miserable cow as I feel too hot and grottydone 4 loads of washing so that's good, mixture of OHs and babys. pleased the baby clothes have washed well. Just need to hang it up in the wardrobe.
Me too! Where abouts are you? I'm near Ponty
So flipping hot I've managed 4 loads of washing (including a superking duvet!) and got them all dry and in before the BBQs started up. Even those few minutes in the sun was too much for me.
Not doing anything today that I can't do in my jammies! :rotfl::rotfl::A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5

It should, but it probably won't last very long on denim.:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5

I live in Powys. Glad I'm not only one finding it too hot, feel awful moaning as there's been so much rain lately but I bet we'll have a super hot summer with all us lot being preggers!
Xmas: I hate hemming too, think it depends how heavy the denim is? I think that tape can only hold light fabric so if the denim is thin it should be ok. Luckily my 3/4s still fit me so I'm just wearing those rolled up.0 -
CAFC - You know you have to share what your names are now;) Even if you just say the two you were torn between and not which one you have picked:)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
