My baby has finally arrived! Born yesterday at 12.20pm weighing 7lbs 5oz. He is perfect, albeit a little tardy at 41 wks!

Think me and DH are lucky with our parents, they would never mention a gender preference! Don't think they will stick their noses in either about how to bring the baby up...think they know us better than that!

Been a bit dizzy again, took my BP this am and was 91/61 which is a bit low, but was a bit higher when I took it again just now. Might mention at the scan on Monday in case they want to check my iron levels.

Have done all I need for today, going to dh's mates for a bbq in a bit (i probably shouldn't have eaten 3 bits of cake at the church thing earlier :rofl: ) I might sleep in the spare room again tonight as I slept better and so did DH.

Well ive cut the grass and cleaned the patio furniture and the bbq ready for tomorrow. Kids have been playing in the pool so have burnt off loads of energy so hopefully im in for a quiet evening with them. I just have kitchen to give a once over in the morning and the place is ready for visitors the inlaws are coming over which will be nice :-)

Good for you Cafc getting some fresh air, I sat outside earlier in the shade, had come in just felt like I was boiling over. Am sat on the bed with the air con on me reading my hypnobirth book.

Such beautiful weather but I just feel like such a miserable cow as I feel too hot and grotty done 4 loads of washing so that's good, mixture of OHs and babys. pleased the baby clothes have washed well. Just need to hang it up in the wardrobe.

pleased to say i defo think fat baby is heading in the right direction....

never needing to pee so constantly in all my life, so hes defo shifted some weight downward, getting short of sharp twinges in my "area" as well, so I know theres more of him down there than there was.....

CAFC I am going to have a bbq on my own (a poundland disposable one) as DH is going out tonight for a stag do and won't be back until tomorrow. So I just have you ladies for company this evening.

Re families and choice of boy/girl is funny in my family for three generations on my mum's side has only been girls been born, I will be having the first boy but they all would be happy whatever!
