fernliebee wrote: »Kitkat- tbh in your situation (ie you having to go back to work, having two littlies and 2 older ones, and the fact that you may not use them for anymore children) I wouldn't bother with re-useables either. My main thing was the cost saving when using them for subsequent children as you save money the first time, then any subsequent children are basically cost free and I knew I wanted 2 or 3 bubba's.Did you pump those out whilst I wasn't looking KK????
There was me thinking this was the first? :rotfl:
Hehe this is my 1st!! Fernlie think your getting me confused with someone! But I am going back to work after this baby unfortI think maybe if I use disposables and shop arround I should be able to save abit of money doing it that way. I just think it will cause rows with me and OH with reuseables as I know he wont wash them.
Lol at your OH Cafc, spose at least mine does start the washing machine! He just cant seem to empty it! Or dry/ iron his own clothes! Annoys me as he has gone to his mums house today to do some work for her and I bet she will get him doing loads, I'll get home tonight and there will be dirty dishes from this morning and the house will be a tip! :rotfl: (I must laugh otherwise I'll cry!)0 -

Woo hoo cravings have kicked in..........YOGHURT yum yum
Couldn't stand the stuff pre-preggers, now pots and pots of it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
P.S. Still not cherry though. I am pregnant not tasteless0 -
LOL on my scan, our baby gave us the finger
He's gonna be such a charmer I can just feel it with every boot in my foof!
Kitkat - we shopped around for disposables and did pretty well really. I wouldnt bother buying too many newborn/size 1's as there is such a cross over with size 2's. Plus if my little chubby wubby one is just that, chubby, I'll have a few packs going spare that I can send with your other bits. They were the £1 asda ones....my mummy stocked up for meWealth is not measured by currency0 -

God I so wish I had that on a t-shirt.....
Seeing what some women are walking round wearing during pregnancy makes me shudder for those babies.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Its not so much the cost that i am worried about having two littlies im thinking if i have reusable at home there is no messing about with having two lots of nappies i can get one size fits all and i feel awful throwing out all those nappies the majority of my rubbish now is nappy waste and it will soon be X2.
The cost aspect isnt so much an issue as unlike when i had bubs i have everything we need now so i could find the lump sum for them with the hip grant and the insurance money i get from my health plan..... Thats something i wanted to mention to you ladies if your employers have a scheme where you can get money towards health care like glasses or dentistry check if you can claim for having a baby i found out last time i can claim £350 for giving birth it sure comes in handy in those early days and dads should be able to claim it on their policy as well if they have a seperate one but only one claim can be made on a family policy :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
