Hi I'm a lurker for 15 weeks now (due 14th Nov). Just popped in to say I got Pampers in Tesco there, buy 2 get 2 free. They are the carry packs. 36 in the size 3 pack for £5.83. Works out £11.66 for 144 nappies.
If anyone is interested, I ordered the Baby Elegance Beep+ travel system. It has chassis, carry cot, buggy, car seat, car seat base and changing bag for £365. I looked at a few others, and i thought this was good value. I got it in a local shop, but this is what it looks like.

**confuzzled** wrote: »are terrys relatively easy then?? as this is the cheapest option and both Mums will know what to do with them...can't be doing with a newborn and teaching those 2:eek::rotfl: Hmmm I might go for the terrys afterall and try others as & when they're mega cheap, at least I'll know I've got the Mums to call if I need advice on those:D........decisions, decisions
Super easy. They come as a sqaure and you just fold them which takes less than a second. I used a disposable liner for them when I had DS, it just means once their poo gets more solid you can just lift the liner off and flush it down the loo leaving you with a wet cloth which you just shove in a bucket then shove the lot in the washer once it's full. The liners are £4.99 for 200 from MC, sure Wilkos would do them for half the price. You could also use reusable liners and shove them in the washer at the same time as the nappies.
Nene, excited are we?Enjoy it! :j:j:j
The only problem with terries is they don't look as nice but personally I think there's a limit to how nice nappies look anyway!Updating soon...0 -
Thats not a bad deal Cafc, I need to go to Tescos this weekend so will see if my local store actually has stock  had my tesco clubcard voucher for £10.50 so maybe I could use that towards them! wooo!!
Welcome CL! Nice travel system! I have no idea wot I am going to get yetmy mum wont let me buy one until the baby is born (very superstitious) but I might buy one within next couple of months and keep it at her house (I think the superstition is that its unlucky to have it in the house before the baby is due, according to my mum
) some lovely kind person on this thread (Cafc!) gave me a mothercare money off voucher for a pushchair/ pram so me and OH are going to look there

Ooooh thanks Cafc for the Asda offer, I've never shopped online there before and I think with this weeks MSE email there is a £10 off code off your 1st shop, so maybe I could order part shopping from there, have delivered to mums (as they dont deliver to where I live) and get other bits from Tescos! Its a good offer on the Huggies pure wipes as they are quite expensive, although I have bought one pack for £1... from somewhere!!0

I got the 2 x 4 pack of Huggies pure wipes in Asda and had 2 x £2 vouchers for Huggies little swimmers (from inside the Huggies newborn starter kit), so I handed them over and the till assistant accepted them.
So 8 packs of huggies pure wipes for £2!
I'm I a little weird that I've got over 800 nappies and I'm only 15 week pregnant?0
