Well Done Fuzz! The first thing I bought for bubs was feeding stuff like sterilizer, etc at about 14 weeks and I didnt buy anymore until 20 weeks, I tell you what in the past 7 weeks I have bought sooo much stuff!!! Once you start Fuzz you will find it hard to stop, there are so many lovely baby items out thereclothes is my weakness! I just cant wait to see my baby wearing some of the stuff I've got
George at ASDA have a sale on, near enough everything online in the baby section is sold out but if any of your live near to an ASDA might be worth popping in? My local is over 30 miles so I think I will skip it!0 -

I've seen the George sale...so many cute things, Grandma H has already got Pumpkin the reindeer outfit:o
I think I've decided to get bubs 1 item per week and hopefully that'll break it down cost wise and keep me from going mental buying stuff:o:D The bigger stuff(cot etc) we'll get when DH gives the go-ahead..he's not excited yet as there's nothing that he can notice, apart from my lack of waist!, so until then I'll stick with the other stuff:)
Just wish he could get more excitedho hum...I'm sure he will later on when he can feel kicks and stuff

Fuzz, what's the Boots changing bag like? I got my voucher too
, but not sure whether to get one as the pushchair I want only seems to come as a package with a matching changing bag, so not much point having 2. Then again, If the Boots one is good I could always flog the other one on good ol' ebay...
Baby purchases are coming along hereI picked up some cot bedding at the weekend. We've gone for this
which I think is so sweet (to the point that I have to keep popping into the spare room to have another look and coo over it
). We're not planning on finding out the flavour and I wanted something reasonably bright.
Numpty question now though - I know we can't use the quilt before the baby is 12m old, but what do we use?? Is it just sheets and blankets until then?
I need to start making a list, I think...
DH has done a deal on a 5-door car so will hopefully be picking that up at the weekend. But we're having plenty much sad faces at the moment as he spends his last few days with his beloved Audi. The new one's just as nice imo and will save him a small fortune in running costs each year, but I think he's just having a hard time accepting that he will soon be driving a "family" car.You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0 -
We have most things left over from DD so not much fun stuff to get really
very MSE though, sensible isn't always fun though
Also as we are on team yellow I can't get too excited about clothes. I'm saving a chunk of the HIPG until bubs is born then I'm going to go on a shopping spree (well head directly to H&M as I love their baby clothes.)
I only have boring things left to get but I am starting to think I should get my bum in gear and pack a bag, or at least buy the few bit's I need to go in a bag. I don't plan on having to use it as I don't want to have to be transferred to hospital this time, but I need it ready to go as last time was a bit of a faff as I had taken stuff out of my hospital bag to use at home and then when I was transferred I forgot some of it. Oooops!0 -

Fernlie already having stuff is a great excuse to get the non-essential stuff you may have wanted last time;):) Or is it just me planning that trick for the next baby?:rotfl:1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

Now I might have to go to asda which is kind of on the way home, rather than Sainsburys. i've never been to the asda but it's nearish work so could be lethal if its decent!! DH's sister had a little boy last week and we need to get something for him...he was 10lb 5oz (ouch ouch ouch) so am wondering whether to get 0-3 or 3-6 months. What's the betting i'll end up with something for our baby too?! I'm gonna be out of here at 4pm sharp today...feels like a long day already even though i didn't get in til 10am and my hips and lower back are in agony
right, i am going to pack up now I think... i'll just do a to do list for tomorrow (delete and file the 434 emails in my inbox being the top item!)Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
