I'm a huge bookworm, but I think if OH had his nose in a book when I was in labour I'd beat him with it.

I'm thinking I may pack my little squeezy stress ball thing that I have as something to distract me. I'm going to try and leave it as long as possible before I go to hospital though, so hoping I won't have to be there for too long. (Fingers crossed anyway, never done it before so can't even begin to think what to expect!)

Well if it helps, for my first, I was in at 3pm and home by 11pm the same day

That sounds good. My mum who's a nurse has advised me to get home as quickly as possible as you pick up infections in hospital!!

nene - sadly I don't have time to be bored...with this being my first I still work full time, plus commute 75-90 mins each way...there's not much time left!!

I'm working from home this morning :T which is fab. Hvae just sent a couple of emails then I'm nipping out to pick up some nappies from a netmums lady . antenatal clinic this aft.

MLSL, if Pigpen's 'general flinging' is like mine, it's grabbing as much carp that's cluttering up your house and flinging it binwards or charity shop ways.

Grrr, got to sort out BT, as they're insisting we owe them £80.09 as a final payment (we left cos they're utterly pants), but the money came out over a month ago, they just 'can't find it' and have sent a debt collection letter. :mad:

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all alright. Haven't had a chance to read back yet, (if anyone can summarise that would be helpful) - hugs to those who need them, congratulations to any new arrivals (mums to be and babies! Jolene been on yet?) labour and stay put vibes as required!
Just wanted to quickly introduce you all to our new arrival, Freddie (Frederick Benjamin). He was born on Tuesday as planned, and weighed 7lb 3 oz. I came home Wednesday lunchtime, though it's been chaotic and I'm not sure when I'll be able to get on again!
