I had an interesting morning...drove out to get the nappies, lovely mad lady with 4 kids. Some brand new nappies, some well used but all a bit bigger than what I have so ideal to be put away for use later. Was only £10 so worth it. However her house was quite out in the country and just as I got there my car beepes and the oil light flashed on :eek: this has never happened in 15 yrs of driving (gosh that makes me feel so old!!). Amazingly there happened to be a small, family run garage in the village and they filled it up with me. It took 2 litres of oil and he said that it only holds 3 in the engine. :eek: The shame!! I do usually check it quite regularly but obviously haven't recently! I have been saying to DH for ages we need to put it in for a service but he didn't want to spend the money :mad: as we only use the car rarely. It is hvaing a kwik fit brake check tomorrow as I want that checking, then I will get a service soon I think. I text DH and he text back saying 'guess it needs a service'...erm, yes, I've been saying that for 2 years.

SO was out a bit longer than planned but am now banging through my work to do list. I am freezing but don't want to put the heating on, will have to go and find a fleece I think.

re decorating, we could probably paint too as long as it was magnolia but to be honest it all looks fine, we've only been here 2 yrs and a bit and the baby's room has only been a study, and spare room hardly used at all. it's our hall and landing and stairs that really need doing, guess they are higher traffic.

Hi All

Figured I would pop in and show my face and bump to you all. Pregnancy is progressing fine - am now 29 weeks (was 29 yesterday so I now have only 76 days to go until my due date) and I cant wait :T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Am having a very surreal day today though, feeling very breathless, heavy arms, and have been having pains in my coccyx this morning which was a horrible stabbing pain, been having sort of dull achy pains around my stomach and sides too. also need to go to the toilet a lot more than usual which is quite weird so not sure if i have eaten something funny or what but not comfortable either way.

So not sure if these are braxton hicks too or not as didn't have them with Benji. although have decided that I'm staying in the house to relax today x

Pigpen, yep, it's definately liberating getting rid of stuff. Trouble is, I hate all my clothes, so have a tendency (sp?) to get rid, then have nothing to wear cos I hate clothes shopping even more!

MLSL, I'm with CAFC - a spa day would definately be 'health in pregnancy'. Happy mummy, happy babba! Plus, if you've been stressed at work having a pamper sesh would certainly relax you, which releases all the feel good hormones etc etc....:D

talk about pregnancy brain...I just sent out 15 seperate reminder emails for a training day I'm running on Tuesday and put 'Tuesday 20 October, 10.30-3.30"

didn't know til I'd sent the last one and someone pointed it out...

Thank-you everyone for all your lovely comments - just pleased to be home! DD is very happy and keeps telling us how much she loves Freddie. Just need to get over the c-section now, as I'm feeling a bit sore - I think I overdid it slightly as I felt fine when I got home, thanks to the drugs, and the midwife told me off when she saw me yesterday as I've caused some fresh bleeding apparently....
