For about 2 years unless we win the lotterybut it's a 3 bed place, stupidest, smallest, what the hell is the point room which is now the office/rat room and DD and whatever baby is are both going into a room together so Can't really decorate. I've put posters up though and I'm looking for peppa pig stickers for her wall round her bed

If it isn't nailed down it leaves the house!neneromanova wrote: »We're in rented accommodation til we can afford to buy our own house so I can't decorate
Just Magnolia walls everywhere. All washing was done yesterday plus I managed to put the hoover around. Oh and hoovered the cars, but that was during one of my "I have energy moments! Quick! Do something!!"
Doesn't help that I was up sunday night vomiting and then DD had it on Tuesday.
I'd have still wiped and repainted! even if it was the same colour!. Like my kitchen.. and the hallway.. boys room went from yellow to blue and DD1's room was lilac and is now red and white.. new bed coming Monday!MLSL, if Pigpen's 'general flinging' is like mine, it's grabbing as much carp that's cluttering up your house and flinging it binwards or charity shop ways.
Do you find it incredibly liberating too or am I just odd?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I think I've caught the 'pigpen bug' new mattress coming for Ds's bed on Monday, cleaned almost every corner of the house ( things that have been neglected since we moved in 6 years ago ), loads of bags to the charity shop, only the sheds & attic to do (I'll leave baby stuff washing until nearer the time )Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0

I'm doing the baby washing on a nice sunny day in June when the children are at KH's I already decided!
Everyone seems to have caught my bug for cleaning and decorating.. Over on the flylady thread I have half of them decorating and flinging too.. I haven't even started with nesting yet.. I'm just shuffling to make room for the baby stuff!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I have a huge list of stuff to do but it is all boring stuff so it keeps getting left
With the first one it is exciting as you get to buy lot's of lovely baby stuff, but this time round we have everything we need, so I just have to go shopping for boring stuff like breast pads, maternity pads, etc blah blah!! Also as we don't know the sex we are going to save some of the HIP grant to buy some nice boy/ girl bit's after bubs is born. If it's a girl we will be sorted as DD and new bubs will be exactly 2 years apart so even the same season clothes to pass down, (MSE!
) but if it's a boy will need to get on freecycle and get some boy's clothes, as I don't think they will want dresses!
ETA: Also have decorating to do in hallway and bathroom but will have to wait until we have some spare cash for paint to match the wallpaper I got. It is cath kidston style roses on light blue background (so obviously just going on one wall as it would be a bit lairy on all) It is lush and best of all was £2 for 6 rolls! Bargain!!!

Morning all!!!!
Just had nommy weetabix for my brekkie today, trying to increase my fibre intake, as things were getting a bit strained IYSWIM
Going to walk into town when ive sorted my hair out, want to get some plant pots to go into our yard. DH has agreed I can buy a couple of the fruit trees from Morrissons, Only £2 each and they are as tall as I am. Just want to brighten up the space really...so that will cheer me up.
Need to buy some padded envelopes and then pack up some bits for posting out on saturday....so looking forward to my day really.....
Hopefully I dont spend too much (coz I havent got much to spend!)Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Lots of redoing here too :rotfl:
As we've managed to get most of the baby stuff now (yay!) I'm going to use the hip grant when it comes to recarpet the 2 smaller bedrooms, and decorate whilst the carpets are up and going to replace their mattresses before then because theirs have had it, and basically they don't smell too pretty as twins were prone to bedwetting and that seems to have stopped now!
I just want the house to be sorted and the smell of wee to go away before baby arrives, and it will be nice for the monsters to feel they've had something done just for themMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hi Everyone,
Hope we are all well?
Have had an eventful couple of days, was at uni in london for my study group and of course woke up yesterday to the news that the volcanic cloud wasn't letting me home - cue tears, phonecalls home and lovely ladies at work making alternative arrangements for me. Got the sleeper train last night and 10hrs later i got homewas a better journey than i expected and even managed to grab little bits of sleep!
Can someone add me to the edd list as I'm worried I'll mess it up if I try?
