With those gender predictor calcs it works out I'm having a boy which I've got a feeling anyway that I am! My friends were trying to work out at the weekend by my bump shape, apparently if it's all out front it's a boy and if it's more spread over the sides it's a girl. For weeks I've had a small bump in the middle and actually looked thinner on my hips, however over the weekend my hips seem to have 'chunked up' and I swear my jeans are tighter on my bum! So I have no idea! All I know is I have started to feel very fat and uncomfortable. I wana cover up but can't as it's so hot here ATM!
Fuzz: bump bands r great! I bought 2 from mothercare (purely as my local new look doesn't do maternity) and they were £10 for one black and one white, they are great for leaving trousers undone!0 -

5 days late and I'm beginning to get fed up
I really had to grit my teeth this morning going up to the school, does every idiot have to say "Still not had that baby yet?" I know they're being friendly but felt like saying !!!!!! off!! LOL Even DH keeps ringing me from work
I knew I'd be late but *sob* I feel like i'm gunna go the 14 days:(
DD1 was 5 days late but got induced
DS was 4 days late - came spontaniously.
DD2 was 6 days late after a sweep......
So I don't know how late I would've gone with both my dd's had they not been medically encouraged and as this is another girl I reckon we're in for the long haul ARGHHHHH
Doing Chilli tonight ( with some extra fresh chillies added for me:o)
Big labour vibes coming your way choccybikkie! Any chance the MW doing a sweep?
Personally I don't find the bump band gives me any back support but I wear it under my support brace so the brace doesn't pinch my skin. I find the support brace helps a bit though. My friends husband calls it my weight lifting belt!Back on the MFW Wagon!

Due two weeks today and feeling a bit fed up. DS was 3 weeks early so I had mentally assumed this one would be too! I'm so impatient lol. Hope I don't go over as I'm sure I'm already making poor OH life a misery by moaning that I just want baby to hurry up!
I am thinking I might be moaning the same as you in two weeks. I am due 4 weeks today but ds came 3 weeks early. I keep having it in my head that baby will turn up next week - but I bet it doesn't. I will feel like I have gone over due if I haven't had baby by the end of next week!
I have my 36 week mw appointment tomorrow and the baby doesn't feel like it is in the right position to me. I don't think it is exactly breech but I don't think it is head down. At my last appoinment (33wks) they couldn't decide how baby was laying. If they don't think the baby is head down tomorrow, will they send me for a scan to check?? I want to know it has room to move! Anyone else in same situation? what did your midwife say??SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0 -
I got my bump bands from asda at the weekend £8 for two either grey and black or white and striped if i recall.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0

Hi, yeah, I wouldn't say the bump bands you buy in shops offer much support - it's just like two layers of thick tshirt material. You can buy the more supportive ones, I think there's a company called Carriwell (sp) that make them. I've not felt too hot in mine, but that may be cos it hasn't been that hot so far!
HUGE VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM!!!!!!

Xmas - You should have asked her if she went to charm school.... wench!
I've been re-sorting babys room. So now got a proper changing area set up. And made up the change box which will go downstairs so I dont have to trapse upstairs every time to change baby.....
Feeling a bit tired today so had to have a nap for half hour on the sofa, missed all the sunshine LOL but our second living room is looking much better and laundry is done....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
I would normally have said something back but i am exhausted so couldnt be bothered plus i think she was trying to be sympathetic just didnt come out that way unfortunately.
Yay for getting the second living room sorted ive still got to get my head around our one and only living room it needs painting badly and all bubs stuff needs sorting out i'm running out of space quickly but everything we have in there is needed for number 4 so i dont want to get rid of anything. The main thing taking up all the room is his Jumparoo its brilliant but it takes up half the floor.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
we're quite lucky in that we moved into a house that had more space for us to grow into.... although to be fair we'd already filled quite a lot of it.....
we're like a liquid, we just expand to take up any available space.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi all. Just a quick post before i go for lunch.
Had a good weekend. OH is getting really emotional so im stepping on eggshells at the moment! I think she has SPD, shes getting really bad lower back and hip/stomach pains in the morning and last thing at night and shes already struggling to move around even without a big bump - does this sound like it? what can we do if it is?
She needs to go to the GP asap, make an emergency appt for tomorrow. It's not an emergency but waiting times for physios vary so you need to get your foot in the door asap. In Leeds it took 2 weeks for my appt to come through which judging by some stories on here is super quick but even so by the time the appt came around there had been a considerable deterioration.
Some things I have found so far to help (only diagnosed/saw physio last Tuesday so early days)- ice pack between legs as often as poss and for as long as poss
- keep movement to an absolute minimum, take tiny tiny steps when she does need to move about
- tie legs together to sleep (poor husband, we've only been married 6 months! :rotfl::o) This means they don't flop open in her sleep
- avoid straddling movements, put a plastic bag on the car seat to get in & out the car (=less twisting)
If you do nothing else: make GP appt and stay still!!Updating soon...0
