Bexta i can remember way back when i worked in a shop we used to have this really old indian guy come in and OMG did he stink it was unbearable and for some reason he would always single me out and start talking about marrying me off to his son i was 16 at the time and i could think was EWWWWW get away from me now!!!!!! but i just stood there and smiled sweetly until he paid for his 1 photocopy of something completley silly that he always wanted lol :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Xmas, that's funny (but gross) People always used to think I was Greek back in Darwin, and I used to have one old guy offering me an olive farm and donkeys cos for some reason he liked me better than his son's girlfriend, who wasn't Greek. I like olives but not that much!

Mmm... I had a similiar experience yesterday... Was sat in fast food place eating my salad when two older men (50s) offered me their pizza! Was a bit shocked and asked them why... they said I needed more than just a salad for the baby!
awww... men can be so protective in strange ways sometimes. Oh, I forgot to mention that this was just after I tried to sit at one of those table and chairs that are screwed to the floor and couldnt fit in between the gap! LOL
Well, will everyone keep their fingers crossed that I actually have a bed and/or a setee by Friday?!First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0 -
i've had that exact moment as well MichelleM...... I sometimes forget how much my bump sticks out in front so i neglect to take that into my calculations for space needed LOLWealth is not measured by currency0

Thanks for all you're replies. Just a question, does the work have to be all for the same company? Baby isnt due until early November. Apparently I left my last job on 8th November 2009 and I worked there for almost a year but had a break of 3 months (ish) over the summer so working backwards, I definitly havn't worked for 26 weeks of the last 66. If I started a job now and worked, I might just cover the 26, which I am trying to do.
Is there anyone I can go to and find out about all this? Im very confused0 -

Have a look next time your up town and see if there is an office up there that helps people with getting all the benefits they are entitled to i know there is one where i live but i cant remember what it is called i will try to have a look when i go up again. They dont normally get advertised anywhere. You could contact your local surestart and see if they know of somewhere that can help they are a wonderful resource.
Edit: ive just had a goole and it looks like its the benfits shop try googling your area and see what comes up :-)
I dont believe the work has to be for the same company you just have to have worked for 26wks and earnt enough.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Hi you lovely chatty ladies (and man!) Just doing my normal middle of the night shift :rotfl: I generally survive on between 2 & 4 hours sleep a night.
It's only been 8 months of little sleep, so the next person to say get sleep in now before sprout arrives might actually be flicked between the eyes :rotfl: and I'm actually thinking once sprout arrives I may get in a couple more hours sleep along the way!
Exactly one week until induction. Operation eviction hasn't worked as yet, but I'm still trying with the odd tweak here and there
Booked for a sweep the day before induction to see if we can have a last go at getting things moving before the final intervention, my two (10 & 12) are getting sooooo excited now which is rubbing off on me which has got to be a good thing as I've been in a living hell for 8 monthsHave to say though, having all the probs I have had during this pregnancy has been extrememly moneysaving as I haven't been able to get out to spend
.
Anyone else got to this point with a sudden realisation that another baby is on the way?!!:j:rotfl::T:):A
