ymake did you get the full £124 whatever???

You do get the full £124.88 but only if you pay 13 weeks of NI in the 66weeks before baby is born. Or, if you can't afford £31.20 every 3 months/ £2.40 a week then you can apply for a Certificate of small earnings which means you pay no NI but only get £24.88. So working it out in the long run, if you pay the £2.40p.w/£31.20per 3 months it works out better for you.

Thank you all! For anyone whos not on FB you can guess ive had the baby!! Only 13 days late lol. Baby Ryan was born on the 29th weighing 8lb 11.5oz. He is lovely and doing well - his big sisters LOVE him!! (DD3 is a little worried when he cries and just wants to climb all over him..)

Do you pay NI at either £2.40 a week or £31.20 every 3 months?

I have my 36 week mw appointment tomorrow and the baby doesn't feel like it is in the right position to me. I don't think it is exactly breech but I don't think it is head down. At my last appoinment (33wks) they couldn't decide how baby was laying. If they don't think the baby is head down tomorrow, will they send me for a scan to check?? I want to know it has room to move! Anyone else in same situation? what did your midwife say??

Hiya msd Im in exactly the same position as you!!! My last appointment bubs was laying more across/diagonally and it hasnt moved since the lowest bubs gets is about level with my belly button but still laying across. I have my 36wk (Im 36+3) this afternoon and was told they might send me for a scan to see how bubs is lying etc. So basically both our MWs are singing from the same hymn sheet. Ive been a bit concerned that when I lay on my right side Im doing some harm/damage to bubs' head :o Let us know how you get on today we can compare notes ;):)
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D
