Must've been the night for kicking babies, mine was at it all blimmin night! If I cuddled OH, it started kicking him too, naughty bubba.

Smartie, I hope your little beanie shows its face (and bits) this time around. You must be getting a bit frustrated by now.

CAFC, I wanna go to Ikea! Been telling OH for months that we need to go, but he always finds some excuse, now we won't be able to go for another 3 weeks at least, cos he's working this weekend, and I'm working the next 2. I so did not want to go when vastly pregnant, grrrrrr.

Basically you don't have to save any payslips. You just tell them that you're self employed and they'll check with HM Revenue, HM Revenue will turn round, say yes she is and you will automatically qualify as having the highest MAP Available so you will get the Full wack :)

Glad I made your day :D

Here's the link to download the form so you don't have to go to the job center as I find they're morons there.

Edit: that reminds me, I need to pay my next load of NI off. :(
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..

    Hello All

well was suppose to go into uni today for last day of module have attended all 6 of the others unlike most people and couldnt face the 1hr and 15mins drive each way and sitting all day as hurts my back and hips and leg so emailed module leader yesterday and said I wouldnt be going in but would do the work from home - he gives us the next sessions work each time then goes through it on the day!!

anyhow decided I would use the time to make some headway into my 3,000 word assignment (this is on top of an exam i did a few weeks ago!) thats due in, in 4wks time and hadnt started so on goes computer at 8.30am and still her at 4.30pm having written only 500 words, distracted by internet (cant turn it off as need to use online journals), food, sleep (yep went for a lay down) and actually reading journal articles.

Oh well positive is I made a start and can do small chunks an hr here and there over next few weeks to finish it.

My cot matress and mobile came today ordered from very as had a £25 off £50 spend so came to just under £35 for both, box to mobile was a little damaged but cant be bothered to complain as husband will have that out and up tonight- says he is being organised really he just wants a little play!!

    Hey all,

Super tired here too today CAFC, really need some black out curtains in our room I can't sleep past 5.30 atm:mad:

    Well tomorrow I'll be 41 weeks:eek:
and I'm fairly sure bubs is only slightly engaged, was on the brim last fri and I think she's gone down a lil more cos my bladder is now cramping but I don't feel heavy so know she's not fully engaged.
MW did say it doesn't matter as she could engage during labour when you've already had kids but I've been reading horror stories of the cord slipping down before babies head and getting compressed....Prolapsed cord??? Oh now I'm beginning to worry about everything LOL:rotfl:

Hope all you ladies are doing well.
    Busy mummy of 4.:j

Hi all hope ur ok, must have been an active baby night as bubs was also kicking me all night, I also find the minute OH puts his hand on my belly the kicking stops completely!
Well I went clothes shopping today, bought 3 tops and 3 bras from primark. The tops they had were v nice n go perfect with leggings but I was abit dissapointed with the sizes, they had loads of size 8s and 10s but no 14s or 16s. Got some nice tops tho when I eventually found the size 14s between £2.50 and £4 each, not bad! The bras were wireless sports type and about £4 each, and very comfy! Thanks for suggesting primark Cafc!

Also used some of my M&S vouchers and got a cute white reversible jacket and a knitted blanket, for baby not me! :D

Hi everyone.... nice to hear your babies are lively... can only be a positive thing even though we moan about being tired the morning after! :)

Well, havent been able to make it into work today due to AWFUL lower back pain. Was my pelvis at first and back of legs, but now I have contstant shooting pains up my back. :( Its making me feel soooooooooooo miserable. I know I should lie down but weve got the evil mattress at the mo.. bed due fri fingers crossed. Also, its boring just lying there!

I know this might sound like a daft question but could lower back pain indicate any signs of labour? :D wishful thinking.... :D

EDIT: REALLY!!!! CAn those who have already had children please tell me if this is a sign. Ive had a bit of any achy tummy all day and baby hasnt really settled all day either. Vomited once, but thought that was because my tummy was a bit sore from bubs acrobatics. Been to the toilet a few times too..... Should I have cause for concern or is this just a late pregnancy thing???

All of those things could be signs of early labour, but are you sure you haven't done a bit too much or got a tummy bug? If you are really concerned or are in pain you should give your midwife a call, they would rather talk to you and it be a false alarm than you be frightened and them not know. Hope your OK chick.
