You don't need to pack huge amounts, remember that even if you end up staying longer than expected you can always put a pile of folded stuff in a clearly visible place at home (like on top of your bedroom drawers) and your OH or Mum etc (who would presumably be visiting you anyway!) can bring it in for you.
There's no need to go into hospital loaded up like a packhorse.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Morning all,
Just wondered if anybody in the last trimester have noticed their morning sickness coming back? I've felt really sick for the last few days! Anyone else suffering with this?

I am now 19 weeks 4 days and although my belly is hard, haven't felt baby as yet.
Just wondering when will bump grow upwards to make belly button stick out, my bump still very low and just under belly button?
My DH just saw my belly button... AND WANTED TO TAKE A PHOTO!!!:eek::eek: You can guess my response!:rotfl:
I'm 21+3 and yes... it's starting to aim upwards. Yuckity yuck - I hate belly buttons:(BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Clare im on my fourth and my belly button has never popped out it just kind of dissapeared and became flat like part of my bump so it may never happen. Your bump should start moving upwards anytime now but i wouldnt wish it to happen to soon as when it does move up is when you start getting the shortness of breath as it starts squashing everything to make room :-)

Mydaughter has a natural outy belly button makes me wonder what will happen to it if she ever gets pregnant in the future. Hopefully that wont happen for another 20yrs or so if ever she is adamant that she never wants to give birth and she will adopt you have to love the pure logic thinking of a 12 year old:-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

:) My neice (she is 5) said to me on Saturday, ''Will the baby come out of your belly button?'' I said no she then asked '' Does it come out of your bum?'' again I said no, she looked at me puzzled and asked where it came out of, I said it comes out your 'front bum', her eyes nearly popped out of her head when she said ' You mean it comes out of your Mary??'' I was trying not to laugh and just nodded, she wasnt amused and said 'Oh uh Im not EVER having a baby if thats where it comes out of!!!''
:) I did say to her that some babies come out of the tummy and explained and she seemed ok with being 'sliced open' and baby coming out that way

I'm with your niece on that one YorkyGal
. Have a horrible fear about giving birth, and would much rather be sliced open then go through birth

God I'm so emotional it's stupid. I went food shopping as we have friends coming over this weekend so I thought I'd get some food, OH's Birthday present and be all sorted
Oh and also do 2 weeks worth of shopping. Got to the til, Knew my OH's present was £49.99 but I had £17.50 in nectar points and also a £9 off voucher when you spend £90. Didn't think it would go too badly. £170!!!! I nearly died!! I got back to the car and just feel so deflated and wanting to cry now, which yes I know's pathetic. GRRRRRR!!! Bloody Hormones!!!!

Clareemily- My belly button never popped with DD until I was in labour, it popped out for 1/2 an hour while she moved down and then went straight back in, was weird! This time I am 34 weeks and it is on the edge of popping out when baby is in certain positions but hasn't popped yet. I don't like outies though so I really hope it stays in!
Luce- I had morning sickness the whole way through with DD. But in the first trimester and the last 4 weeks it was really bad, the middle bit it was just a bit iyswim. This time round I had it badly in first trimester and then it went away completely from 16 weeks. This week however (34 weeks) I have woken up a few mornings feeling sick but not actually been sick yet, I think it is on it's way back. Apparently it is quite common for it to return near the end but funnily enough is never mentioned in books I have read!0
