Kitkat, do what I do and just chuck it out. If it hasn't seen the light of day for more than 6 months, then it more than likely won't again. :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Hello all...
Well, was in hospital last night after ringing the midwife regarding the back pains and my tight tummy. Baby is fine although I have a lovely infection downstairs... they put a lovely fizz bomb type of tablet in there... oh my days! I felt like one of those volcanos you make at school with a fizzy drink and mints! :O
Have been given some stronger pain killers for back pains which help me sleep- what a night though. I cried twice- the first when I told DH that id been having mega back pains and that my stomach was going tight, the second when midwife told me to go straight to antenatal. l tried explaining to him that I wasnt crying because it hurts as he was trying to calm me down, talking about the need to increase my pain barrier and that its only going to get worse!... I could have whacked him for that!!!!!!! He didnt have a clue about labour ,etc as hes still not read the 3 pages from my book... we have been moving house though... but he better read it by next week because I dont want to have to explain everything to him whilst its bloody happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not been to work since Thurs now but hoping to be back in by Mon... too much stuff to sort out!First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0 -
I'm not sure I'd like to have a baby through my belly button so I'm grateful it comes out of "the other place":D
:o:o:oI used to think that's how the babies came out
:o:o:o
I was told differently when I was about 10. I was in the bath and mum thought this was a good time to talk about the birds and the bees:rotfl::rotfl:What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
I'm lucky never had to have that talk with my DD i just answer her questions when she asks them and she pretty much knows everything now. Ds asked the other day what wet dreams were i told him to ask his dad lol :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

jacket potatoes for dinner tonight.... maybe that will help my mood
MM - Glad you got checked out and bubs is ok.
Did the hoovering in living room trying to control the amount of dog hair everywhere. DH bathed him this morning which means even more hair falls out.... for such a small dog... so much hair!!!
told DH earlier that im starting to get scared now about baby and birth, and he thought it was really sweet. He tried his best to reassure me, but he's not exactly there with "the words".....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Nene, when my mum tried to have the talk I ran away! Trouble is, when I started, I thought I was bleeding to death and screamed the house down. My poor dad was traumatised when he found out what I was carrying on about.
Sob, OH has just sold his bike. I know it's daft to feel sad about an inanimate object, but I'll miss it, even though my pillion days are over for now. I can't really complain, he got a good price for it, and he won't be bikeless for long, but she was a beauty (Yamaha XJR 1200 for any bike geeks out there)

Hi everyone. I thought I'd check in.
27th April, first one in the operating theatre, 9.03am baby Benjamin 7.14lbs.
Released from hospital on the third day, re-admitted on the fourth. Same scenario as last time, high bp. Let out again on bank holiday monday, and we're staying put.
Benjamin was really sluggish at first and quiet, but is getting into the swing of things. I'm trying to get to grips with breastfeeding and not being used as a dummy . But he is beautiful and I felt fabulously more maternal this time round.
Joseph is starting to show interest in his little brother "the baby" and is happy to have mummy and daddy back home.
Ooh, I am being summoned :rotfl:
All the best to you all, I'll have to catch up later.
PS Can you see these photos?:wall:0 -
congratulations Agutka!!!
Im off to check out photos!!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
My OH sold his bike too and I felt sad so it's not just you! He did used to scare the living daylights out of me though when I was a pillion passenger, I think I was probably the worst passenger ever
We did 'the talk' at school in year 4, so I had just turned 8 and was subjected to hearing all about puberty, erections (!?) in textbook diagrams obviouslyreproductive diagrams, the basic mechanics of sex and how it causes pregnancy and the woman makes a baby and a video of a woman giving birth all within a week
DD1 now goes to my old school and we had a letter home saying that they spread it out now through the school and start at 7/8 with 'how our bodies are different' and don't do the sex talks till year 5 or 6. Which is much better, imo!
ETA: Congrats, Agutka, well done!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
