    congrats Gill and lovely pics.

This is our first baby - I am not worried at all about having a baby but the actual birth bit scares me senseless. I am the eldest of 8 children with a 12yr gap between me and youngest and have between us we have 12 nieces and nephews. I am also a qualified childrens nurse and have worked as a nanny, maternity nanny and night nanny so lots newborn experience.

husband is in for a shock minimal baby contact doesnt get involved with them and thinks I will be doing everything - come sept he will get a big welcome to the real world.

On another note blooming marvellous have added more to their sale

Aw!!! Thomas is such a cutie. Congratulations, Gill.
He just sparked an "oh my god, I'm going to have one of those" thoughts.

It is my first too but trying not to think too much about it all yet or I'll just get overwhelmed. We'll try our hardest anyhoo.

Yep, me too. Really annoys OH actually because he thinks it's a slight on him or that I'm comparing him to my ex when I talk about worrying about what will happen in the hospital because it was bad before :o

But that's not how I mean it, and I cant make him understand :o

Could someone add the boy symbol to my name the next time the list is updated, I daren't try myself I'm sure I'd mess it up!

Gill congratulations on Thomas, that flufty tufty blond hair is way cute!

CAFC, I know it was hours ago, but this one's a first too (well for me anyway).
And yep, I am not at all impressed with the idea of giving birth. Not happy about it, but at the same time, definately don't wanna be pregnant forever, I miss sleeping on my back too much!

Sonee, it's a pity you felt :o, but I did think the imagery was quite funny (sorry). I hope there's something the physio can do for you though. An aunty of mine has major back/ pelvis problems and has had quite a few surgeries and huge amounts of painkillers, so her daughter is an only child for the same reasons as your little one.
