I have a little drink every now and again normally either a wine spritzer or a shandy. I had mega craving for beer with number two and spent a few weeks craving it with this one but it seems to have subsided now. I think everything in moderation is the key. I am with pigpen on the prawns as well i couldnt live without them every now and again. Today ive bought myself the biggest slab of steak you have ever seen normally i eat it rare but i will make sure it is just cooked through whilst im pregnant :-)

Smartie i'm pretty sure its the docs or A&E upto 20wks then after that its midwife or labour ward you have to contact.

I would deffinately try and see someone today if you have been bleeding and had stomach cramps after all it is better to be safe than sorry. Do you have a day assesment unit at the hospital your booked with there number should be on your notes its normally just a walk in service but you do need to call to let them know your coming and they will monitor baby and possibly arrange a scan if they think its needed. Like kitkat said though if your unsure and its the early hrs then just go to A&E. I do hope things start getting abit easier for you soon chick you really are in the wars at the moment :-) x

    Thanks:)

I'm after the magic 20 week mark so that's why I was so unsure what to do. It seemed a little too soon to involve the labour ward! I've felt bean move so I'm not too concerned now. We do have a day assesment unit so we'll see how today progresses. I'm thinking the bleeding may be linked to my UTI as strangely my wee now looks normal and my kidneys aren't hurting anymore... so maybe it was a clearout.

Is it just me or does anyone elses OH seem to be freaking out about buying stuff? I have to admit, in 4 weeks we seem to have got loads, but its mainly offer codes, boot sales/ my parents or ebay. I put minimum bids on some sleepsuits on ebay last week, went to a bootsale Saturday and bought lots of clothes, then won the ebay auctions after. OH saw what I had got last nite and was moaning saying we have too many clothes!!! I dont think we do, I have a few of each size upto 6 months but he is freaking out!! I had a parcel come today thats another sleepsuit from ebay I think I will have to hide! Theres one more to come (hoping it will be there tonight) and thats it!! I have bought the stuff so cheaply, I told him last night this stuff new would have cost hundreds and it was cost me about £20 in total, and I have been fortunate enough to get some beautiful items. I think he should be grateful, I have bought all these bits so far and all he has bought it a hat and mittens set :rotfl: MEN!!!!

My OH has done that too :o

He has gone ebay/baby shopping mad. To the point where the parcelforce man waved to me the other day whilst I was in town

    Congrats Gill! :T

I had my physio yesterday and after 1 hour and a half, ive been diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome... :( Ive had it all these years... Basically, my ligaments are very loose meaning they are super loose now due to hormones. Therefore baby will possibly come out quite easily but there could be an issue with things going back to normal afterwards!:cry: I really dont want a 'bucket'! Im thinking I might want a Csection but dont know if im being over the top!

She then realligned my spine which hurt a lot and followed up with a nice massage... she was brilliant and very detailed. Have to go back in 2 weeks to discuss birthing issues.

M/W appointment today so will discuss with her.

And thanks to whoever it was that mentioned the 10% off at mothercare!

So.... how do I wake little bean up???

    I'm now convincing myself I haven't felt him today:o

And I'm fed up with being team yellow. If anyone comes across something nice in team yellow please let me know. I always see nice things for team pink and blue.

A very cold fizzy drink normally does the trick for my bean Smartie :-)

Ouch Michelle that doesn't sound like the greatest outcome but at least you know now and they can help you out :-)

    :eek::eek:That must've been a big glass!:p:rotfl::rotfl:

Smartie if it takes that long for your midwife to get back to you then I'd say call labour ward, hope it doesn't happen again though :)

    pint glass.. :o

cuppa on top of the bump works every time for me.. as does ice cream.. loadsa chocolate/jellies/sugar.. or trying to get to sleep!

Kitkat.. eggs are vital.. full of protein.. tell him to stop being such a twerp and get a grip!!! I'd like to see my OH tell me what I can/cannot have... lol.. Battery eggs are vaccinated against salmonella anyway.. and eggs with lions on are fine.. so I was informed recently.. so as long as they don't float in a bowl of water they are fine to be eaten! Nothing like a runny dippy fried egg with beans and sausages and toast.. NOM!!
