Well done, you sound really determined! Make sure you clear your debt not his with your hard work. Is it possible to see CAB about your rights whilst OH is away?

with regards to your suggestion re: CAB, do you mean finding out about separating finances n stuff? I must admit I am still unsure about seeing them, bit scary! thanks for popping in, I hope your ok xx

Hello poppet, i am fine, just a bit tired. You sound like you have been really busy!

Yes, about separating finances to protect yourself. So you will clear your debt and he will finally realise that it is him dragging you down?

You need to ring up and make an appointment as they get really busy sometimes. At least it will give you options. The unknown is scary but they are a really nice bunch and very helpful. My sister went to see them about something else and they were so helpful.

  • morning all,

Well, not much to report really. get paid next wednesday:j, but hopefully it looks like we will be able to scrape thru by the skin of our teeth until then.

Out of the 3 clothes bundles I put on ebay last night, 2 have got bids all ready! and the other has got 1 watcher. the bids are only 99p, but, its a start and every little helps! lol. plus the listings are on for 10 days, so Im keeping my fingers crossed that they all go up quite a bit by then!!!!

We have had some frost overnight, but the sun is starting to come thru now, and its my first full day of peace and quiet:j im just hoping that I will be able to get all the jobs done on my list! Im sure I will.

well, take care everyone. have a great day and speak to you all later xx

Yay, you are doing so well already :j I'm sure the ebaying will help and like you say every penny counts. I think there is a diary (Woo Woo) who is quite inspiring, she's paid lots by pennies she's found during the week whilst walking to work etc - quite a bit in fact overtime. Pop over and take a read, perhaps when you see that 1p on the floor, pick it up....sounds mad but she has paid lots over a period of time. Def worth a look for motivation/inspiration.

Hope you have a lovely day today, don't forget to make a bit of time for yourself - even if just a nice bath and early night. x

Hiya choc-addict, thanks for popping in and giving your support its appreciated. I did check out the diary of Woo Woo, its a great read. I did actually find about 23p whilst I was out walking my dog about 2 weeks ago:). I am always checking now when Im out. sad but true! lol. I will soon be attacking my to do list, god help me!:rotfl: I was planning on working most of the nights on the chat lines, but to be honest, I dont know if I can, I think I have lost my 'mojo' a bit!:rotfl: cant seem to face it. Oh well, I have started getting into a routine (starting today) of doing the daily clicks on fatcheese etc, so hopefully that will soon add up.

Hope you have a great day, choc-addict. speak soon x

  • hi all,

well, I was having a really good day until about 10 mins ago. Everything has been going well so far, getting jobs done, sorting out next lot of clothes to go on ebay. And then I checked my internet banking, first I thought yay, all bingo monies have gone in and then I looked again. On his way out OH put 2 lots of petrol on his switch card:mad: without telling me. to top it all one of his cc companies (scalifax) has changed his payment plan, we have already paid them their payment this month. But they have changed the date for the payments now from 12th to the 28th. not sure if that starts this month or next!! as the letter was not clear. I went food shopping this morning because I thought we would be ok.

    outgoings I have left are:-

    Asda (shopping from today) £34.40
    Scalifax £50.00???
    BT £16.00
    Car insurance £66.94

OH's spending I have just found out about £29.73

dont know what to do now. I just want this month to be over now. :(
