hiya savingwannabe, I dont know what to do really. I have just worked thru our figures and basically because we both dont get paid till wednesday, I need to find at least £100 from somewhere, otherwise we will definately go over our overdraft. and then that will put my budget completely out of the window for next month and, our charges will be:eek: from the bank. I am gutted, I have been on such a high all day. I have been happy, positive and feeling great. Now I feel low again, I just want to cry. I want to stay positive and maybe after a good nights sleep I will come up with a plan and be ok again in the morning.
I dont know. I need to go away and have a good think. speak soon xLBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0 -
You are being so brave and trying to make things better. Please don't cry. I think on Monday you need to go to talk to a professional person about this - a Dr, CAB. If you can spend tomorrow with your your mum or with your daughter and do something nice. You deserve it.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

thanks savingwannabe for your support. I dont know sometimes, men:mad:
I think I will leave the rest of the ebaying tonight. I had that on my to do list for tonight, but to be honest, I am so tired. I dont actually sleep that well when Im on my own, so last night was a bad night for me. And to top it all, DD is being a hormonal pain the rear! lol. teenagers!!! I must be careful, I dont want to be stroppy with her its not her fault.
Hopefully, things will seem brighter in the morning.
speak soon, thanks again xLBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0 -
morning everyone, have just got back from walking the dog and its a lovely day outside, bit fresh still but nice! I had a good nights sleep last night, but before I went to bed, I have now drawn up yet another budget plan, and this time, Im going to stick to it without fail! I must confess I have been letting OH get away with buying take aways lately, cos I have been feeling so low. not anymore!!!!!
I have now got yet ANOTHER to do list:rotfl: so here goes
1. Batch cook more, I know I am seriously flawed in this department. So I need to get my lazy butt in gear, start drawing up meal plans again and flaming well sticking to em!
2. We all have packed lunches, and it just occured to me whilst walking doggie, the amount of money I spend each week on pre-packed ham:eek: its soooooo expensive. So from now on, im going to buy gammon joints (much cheaper) cook em up on a sunday, and we can all have that in our sandwiches. DD loves gammon, she would live on it if I let her!
3. Make a real effort to top the car up with petrol every friday morning regardless. This is to stop OH for going over my petrol budget every month, which he does. no surprises there then!
4. Bread. We get thru sooooo much bread in this house, so I need to make the effort and make my own. I have done it before, so I know I can do it!!
5. Stop buying biscuits! tut tut! lol. I have made my own before, and DD absolutely loves my shortbread and my cookies, so will start making those again. I have also found out that OH is buying like 2 chocolate bars a day from the garage:eek: So im going to start making some banana bread etc cos he loves that, and he can take that instead. Buying chocs soon adds up!!!!!
6. I have allowed for a small weekly entertainment budget of £15. If some weeks this is not used, then I am going to use this as an overpayment on the cc's, better idea methinks!!
I think thats about it! phew, it seems alot when you write it down doesnt it:rotfl: but its not. Cant think of anything else right now, if I do, I will come back and add later on.
have a great day everyone, enjoy the glorious sunshine. today is another day! be safe, be happy. speak later xxLBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0 -
Nice to see you so positive. Things always feel better when you've come up with a way of dealing with the shoite.
I'm now OH-less until Thursday and determined to do something productive with my time rather than vegging on the sofa munching biccies and reading books whilst the DDs play on their DSs in their Pjs until lunchtime.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

hi moo2moo,
I know exactly what you mean! thats why I decided to make a to do list. Im doing really well on that score and getting thru the jobs gradually:) I must confess if I wasnt doing these jobs, I would have been vegging out, either watching tv or spending all my time on here!:rotfl:
