    Hi JC!

Sorry about your trip to the bank, don't let it get to you, sit down go through them and go back to the bank (hopefully her desk) and hand them over with a smile! She could have done that with you at the bank - grr!

Why don't you use this time whilst OH is away to really get on top of everything - house wise, paper work wise etc? With him out of the way then you could really go through everything and i'm sure it'll be theraputic for you and a very positive process.

Lovely of your Mum to pop those foods across - why don't you do an inventory of everything you have in the house food wise and see what you can't work out. If all else fails £2 will get you a bag of pasta and pasta sauce (supermarket own brand) that's what I do if I really want to save the pennies then perhaps add some mushrooms and peppers? Simple and very cost effective. In fact you could put some of that chicken you are given from your mum in or grab an onion and curry sauce and batch cook a large chicken curry and freeze some?

Anyhow, must get back to work. Make the most of time whilst he is away, hard as it will be really motivate yourself to get things sorted and then you are ready to sort the debts.

    Good luck xxx

Great stuff!! Why don't you write yourself a to-do-list on your diary here and then we can all give you some support and it's VERY satisfying when you can cross them out as done.....i'm excited for you :j xx
  • thanks choc-addict,

I will definately do a list. I think putting the list on here will be a good thing, although I warn you all, it could be a very very long list!:rotfl:

Im on here alot more today as I didnt go to work (naughty I know) but I had an awful headache earlier (woke up with it) and the feeling depressed didnt help. I just feel so tired all the time, and I think its the constant worry of debt, house being a mess, working, OH etc.

I am hoping that once I get myself sorted out over the weekend, I will feel more positive and alot happier. Once I start seeing some results I will then hopefully get a real boost.

Grocery shopping wise, spent some time over on the grocery challenge thread and I have found a local online butcher:j did my figures and I can get enough meat for to last us 3 for about 2 months (cost about £73.00). then all I have to worry about is general shopping. YAY! lol

    cya all later!:D

  • right, following choc-addicts advice I have now made my to do list for the time that OH is away. It doesnt look too bad as it goes, I am quite surprised! list goes something like this:-

Thursday and Friday night - ebay, ebay, ebay!!:D

Saturday am - wash down all doors, skirting and wash floors throughout.
pm - Hoover and polish bedrooms.

Sunday am - clean bathroom inc washing down the walls and polish lounge.
pm - wash down kitchen, try and tidy cupboards.
    clean conservatory.

make sure washing is done and DD's uniform is ready for Monday.

late sunday pm - collapse! :rotfl:

that should do it for now, if I think of anything else (I hope not!!!! lol) I will add it on later!

This sounds very positive. Well done. If you feel down in the mornings we all understand why. I still think you should tell your doctor and they might be able to get you a counsellor or something which will help you to feel better. I did this and it helped me. I have just come back from work. EEEK!

I hope you are having a good day.

    Hello,

My doctor and friends always say i should be kind to myself. So i am going to suggest it to you too. Can i suggest that you take one of those tasks out and maybe spend the time being kind to yourself. Visit your mum, visit a friend for coffee, watch telly just for a few hours to treat yourself so you have relaxed. You deserve it.

    Big hugs,

    :j

Agree, most def give yourself some time too - even if for a soak in the bath with candles.....although doing something with a friend is equally as nice :D x

On a not so good note, we cannot make OH's loan payment this month of £160.22 cos of his overspending:mad: thats not good. unless, super woman here:rotfl:manages to make some good money from ebay or I may even try and work on the chat lines over the weekend as the money is way better then. fingers crossed I will be in a better frame of mind to do it.
