just a quickie post tonight!!
Well, I have had a bit of a breakthrough with OH. Now, dont get too excited peeps but we sat down tonight and decided (together) that we need to change our eating habits. This causes problems with the budget all the time.
Anyway, we realised that we spend too much money on takeaways every month, partly my fault, cos I feel depressed quite alot of the time I get lazy and dont meal plan. But its also HIS fault too!!!!!
Well, get this, we spend every month on takeaways roughly £240:eek::eek::eek: EVERY MONTH!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!
If we saved that money, just think how much we could pay off our debts!!!!! in 6 months that would be £1440 in 12 months £2880!
When I made OH realise this, he was shocked, and for once, lost for words:rotfl: he totally agreed with me that we need to change this part of lives NOW. we never agree on anything, so I feel quite good about this.
So, watch this space!! any hints and tips you have on meal planning guys would be great!

Well all I can say is that I am easily pleased!
I have been waiting for just over a year to receive an invite from the shop and scan panel. Dont know if any of you guys are with them, but you are sent a clicker, you scan your weekly shopping receipt and it all adds up into points in your account for rewards! Anyway, my invite code finally came through yesterday!:j:j
And today I found £5.37 down the back of the sofa!:j
Thats made my day lol, told you I was easily pleased:rotfl::rotfl:
Hope your all having a great day!

Hiya,
Yes I did get your pm thank you everso much. Appreciate it. I think the CASHflow idea is a much better one. I dont mind dealing with the creditors on my own now as I said, CCCS have given me the tools I needed to take them all on!!! But it would be nice to know back up is there should you need it.
Go and check the sofa now!!!:rotfl:you never know!!

well this will be the second day in a row that I am a happy bunny:rotfl::rotfl:
I thought our unsecured debt was £58109.48:eek: however, I have been getting updated balances over the last 2 days (I still need to confirm one or two!) but.....our actual balance is
£46497.02:j:j:j now that is a big difference!!!!!
My HSBC loan has now been passed over to Metropolitan, but I am used to dealing with them as I have got permission to talk to them on OH's behalf, so no big deal for me!!!!!
I got a bit of a stroppy letter from them today as my payment is reduced slightly from the one the CCCS gave them. This is because of a small reduction in income this month, so tough! they can like it, or lump it!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
I will contact them though probably via letter, dont know if I can be bothered to ring them lol. I may do tommorow. See how it goes.
But wow, I actually feel pretty good today, sun has been shining, lovely warm day. Dont want to be pessimistic, but I hope it lasts!!!
Hope you are all having a fab day.

Hiya,
Good to hear from you, how are you?
The new job is awful and I hate it, cold calling not my fav thing.
But I am looking at other things to get into hopefully, I would love to build up my own business, but what exactly I dont know! Am sure I will think of something, I am also sick and tired of OH thinking he can tell me what to do, and dictate what I do for a living. Fed up with being told what to do, Im a grown woman for christ sake!!!!!!
Other than that, as per previous posts, things aint bad!
Hope you are well

hmmmm knew the good times would last!
Had to contact Blair Oliver and Scott today re: OH's Halifax CC as I have got permission to do so. They contacted us as his payment plan is up for review.
Had a long chat with them as the balance is still £11,621.33 and one of our biggest creditors. I dont know how, but they managed to talk me into agreeing to pay £370 as of next month!:eek: But im gonna have to ring them back tommorow or write and I say I cant do this. Ive done the figures and even with the savings I have managed to put to one side (for mortgage arrrears) we just cant do it:(
Now im dead scared what they are gonna say. If I could pay it, we would be rid of the debt in just under 3 years which would be fab!
Any ideas anyone??LBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0
