  • well I only made £30 on ebay last week:( £30 for 6 items is not much, consisted of games and puzzles, a couple had never been opened. Oh well, its better than nothing I guess...all helps to keep my head above water lol.

Just waiting for my cheque to come through from Music Magpie. I had a good clear out of all DD's old dvds, and some games and CDs, so got a nice cheque for £90.14 due:j:j

I have also just been accepted for a mystery shopping job (telephone) I dont think im allowed to say who its for on MSE but if I remember to complete it on time (before the 12th October) I will be paid £25:j:j more pennies for the pot lol

I am still going to get some more items ready for ebay tommorow night, I still need to clear loads of items. Some I am going to have to save for next summer as I dont think summer clothes will sell now. And I guess, something is better than nothing!

OH is still his usual happy self. told me the other night that he feels that me and DD do not appreciate him enough:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: yeah right! And he still feels like he wants to leave us for a while, I am tempted to say go for it!!!! ya wont be missed matey!

Men!! they are like big babies!

    Hope you are all well

Just got to keep the money coming in as you say.

Hope you can get some light at the end of the tunnel soon.

  • not a happy girlie today. Got my latest statement from Barclaycard and they are still applying interest and charges:mad:

Even though I received a letter stating they wouldnt!!! my bill should be below £9,000 by now, but its still way over as the charges etc are £54 per month:eek::eek: time for another snotty letter methinks!!!!!! They are sooooo going to feel my wrath! lol. I will NOT let this rest. At the rate they are going, I will never ever pay them off!! stupid idiots!!!!!!!!!

Rant over now. hope you guys are having a fab day, even though its pretty cold where I am and getting darker by the minute, rain could be coming this way, :(

  • What a change from last week, its now winter and the shorts and t shirts are back away for a few months.
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • I so need to get myself more organised and get on here more!!

Well, updates then. hmmmmm........well, with a bit of luck the dreaded payday loans I mentioned should be gone by the end of this month plus my 2 'credit building' credit cards. This is due to OH getting an unexpected bonus, so Im spending it before he does!!!

Overdraft, well it was down now back up to £2400:mad:. Everytime I pay something off, I get nowhere. I have now told the bank (and OH) that everytime I pay something off, I want the overdraft to be reduced by at least £100 a month till its all gone.

I am getting seriously frustrated with the overdraft, its doing my head in!!!!!!! I am tempted to ask my mum if she will lend me the money, but then, it wont help the issue cos OH still uses that account for 'spends' I have told him to open another bank account but he refuses. So thats probably why I cant get it down!!!! His argument is, well we have got a good relationship with our bank, over 20 years blah blah blah. doesn't he get it?? with the dmp and his credit rating etc, the bank would probably never give us anything ever again!! And I dont want it, thats what got us into this mess in the first place!!!

Oh well, rant over lol. Im giving Ebay one more chance, got 37 items listed, some watchers already but no bids. All DD's old winter coats and jeans etc. all like new! hope they sell!

Have a good day all xx

  • Right, Ive had a bit of a result with regards to the payday loans saga! I have offered settlement figures to all and the results are:-

Wonga - owe £389.00 - have written confirmation they will accept £100!:j (cant believe it!!)

Mackenzie Hall - Owe £90 - offered £45 got a no. They want £72.00, I have offered £60.00 - waiting to hear. will chase tommorow.

Clarity on behalf of Swift  (hate Swift!!!!) - Owe £288 - they want £231:eek: - so gonna push em for lower!

Overdraft - not getting anywhere, however, fingers crossed, my mum (bless her) is gonna pay it off for me by the end of this month. She is just waiting for some settlement money.

As for the 2 'credit building' cc's of mine, IF (and I hope and pray it does happen!) OH gets another bonus that he has been talking about just before Christmas, I will be able to pay both off!:j:j

I have nearly spent the other bonus we just got, on getting rid of things, otherwise it will burn a hole in OH's pocket:mad: However, I am not a total meanie, and he has purchased some things. men!

I am not holding my breath as things can (and usually) do go wrong for me, but.........dare I say it, I could be having a much better Xmas and New Year:j:j

    Watch this space!!!!!
