Hi JC, my home computer glitched and died on me last week. I am trying to be MSE (silly me!!! and ordered the new parts for it but I ticked free delivery which takes 4 days) i am hoping to be back on by thursday/friday.

All is good here. Susan's thread is moving to Edinburgh/Newcastle in the last few days of the Easter holiday and will have lots of fun. Am kind of drowning in college work and we have had to come in for a few days to teach extra lessons so the kids are not disadvantaged in prep for exams.

Am sorry about the job that is dreadful. I do hope something turns up soon. I hope you are enjoying the weather it is glorious even today and trying to do happy things. Have you seen Startagain's thread? pop on there she is lovely and inspiring and cheers us all up. Goodluck with training. I hope you make lots of friends.

gotta go. lunch hour is nearly up. Back soon.

  • weather is beautiful here today. Good news, I've now got a new job:j which I start on Tuesday. So fingers crossed this one will be better than the last!

Not much happening on the debt busting front unfortunately, although dmp is progressing well. Im still saving all my small change and putting it into a pot and have now started saving any £2 coins I come across.

OH is very stressed at the min about his job, and yep you guessed it, me and DD are bearing the brunt of it. Well, mainly me. Im sure he gets pleasure out of slagging me off and running me down. I have told him straight he is knocking my confidence all the time. To which he always replies, if you dont like, leave! flaming cheek:mad: if anyone should go, it should be him, right??

My dad told me to start writing everything down in a diary, ie, everytime he slags me off, any violent tendenancies etc. So that if I need to go to a solicitor, I will have everything written down. dates, times etc.

Strange, it feels good to write everything down. I feel almost relieved, I've got so much 'dirt' on OH its scary!!!!!

I know I've said this before, but this time I mean it. Onwards and upwards, from this week on, I am gonna knuckle down and completely declutter the house. and spend all my time on ebay!!! should make a tidy sum hopefully.

Hope you are all well guys, enjoy the easter weekend.

love to you all JC xxxxxx

I feel like I cant go on anymore, but I have to. I have to be clear of everything and be at peace in my mind before me and DD walk away.

OH has got such a nasty vindictive attitude and its hurtful. I am so sick and tired of it all.

And now I've just been called an ar*****e cos I didnt do something right:eek: I was like, what the hell?! So I said, I cant do right for doing wrong, to which he replied, well sod off then.

    I married such a charmer didnt I?

Dont worry, I am ok....I am just venting cos I am fed up. I will be debt free and I will be free of this awful marriage. bear with me, it will all come to an end one day.

    good night all

Well done. You have finally written it down. Can you tell your doctor so it is all documented? They will put you in contact with a domestic abuse hotline so they can tell you how to prepare and what to look out for to make sure you can have full access to your legal rights. They will also point out what strategies he uses to try to talk you round after he has been abusive to you and daughter so you know not to keep forgiving him. Well done I am proud of you. Sound off on here any time. Love, sw.

Not been on for a while, still no ebay :( but! will getting on with it this week! went on Music Magpie yesterday as I have got a dustbag full of DD's old dvds, put them in and was quoted £55:j so will be sending them off this week, result!

OH has booked us a holiday abroad only for a week, but, he wanted me to use my credit card which I am using to slowly rebuild my credit rating! So I said no. We will have to use the last of our savings and it will wipe us out, but at least it will be paid for and not be on credit. This will be the first holiday we have ever had, not on a credit card:j:j And I know that I will enjoy this holiday more than usual knowing that I can relax cos its paid for.

I am also in the process of going into business for myself, cant say too much about it yet. But if it works, I will be debt free alot quicker!!!! So watch this space!

    hope you are all well

    Well done on selling dvds!

New business idea sounds fantastic! Good for you.

You sound positive which is good news. Make sure you only pay off your debt in case you need to escape sooner than you thought.

well havent posted for a while. so here goes.......

ebay sales arnt quite going as well as I would have liked, but I have still made about £115 in the last two weeks. unfortunately, the money has had to go towards keeping our head above water.

My basic account with Natwest, I am overdrawn (unauthorised:eek:) through no fault of my own I did ring and explain and was told that if I do get charged, to ring back and ask if they will remove the charges as a gesture of goodwill. And for once, its not even really OH's fault! its due to the nature of this work and other factors.

My business hasnt even started yet:eek: had a few teething issues with different companies, equipment etc. but hopefully this week I will start 'getting out there' as I seriously need to make some money! There is now no savings whatsoever, which makes me both :( and  we had over £7,000 about 2 months ago....all gone. I hate it.

Oh well, hopefully onwards and upwards as the saying goes!

    hope you are all well

Hi JC I am really sorry that you haven't been able to tell him to SOD OFF himself! There is no way you should have to leave your home and things, when he is such a git to you. Definitely a good idea to write it all down, as your dad suggested. It must be tearing your dads heart out to see you being so abused, by this excuse for a low life, won't dignify IT by calling him a man or human.

I hadn't realised until i had read your signature just how MUCH your DMP was for. OUCH. Can I ask why if, as I suspect, alot of that is OH doing (ie brow beating you into submission to get this that and the other), you are paying back at all. Is there a reason NOT to go bankrupt. It would remove such a weight from your shoulders.....
