    morning everyone,

well, me and OH had a MASSIVE row last night, this time about money. I put him well and truly in his place as he was talking about not waiting as he had promised to get his motorbike. He was talking about trying to get finance now:eek: I said there is no way will you get it. He said im gonna do it anyway just to wind you up, so I said fine, try, and when you get turned down, I will laugh my a*** off!

DD was awfully upset, she thought one of us was going to leave, poor little thing.

He knows he is well and truly in the wrong, as I have had so many texts this morning, he is being so apologetic now. maybe he thinks I'll do a runner whilst he is at work :rotfl:

I cant focus on him right now, I have got a course coming up at work that requires my full attention. I pass this, and I will get my promotion. We will be so much better off financially, and I will use the extra to pay off my debts, and my debts only. I am so thankful that I am on those tablets now, I dont think I could have coped otherwise.

Well, not much else to report really peeps. will try and catch up with you all later.

have a good day everyone xx

    Hey JC,

Just been reading your posts, stay strong and positive. You've some fab advice on here and stick to your guns. I really hope that you can work this out by doing what is best for you and DD.

Can I just ask - before you started sticking up for yourself and not taking his bullying, did he then text or call you to say sorry for his behaviour at all like he is now?? Just wondering.

Have yourself a good day xx

hiya choc-addict. the thing with my OH is, he comes from a long line of strong willed people, him and his siblings are all quite fiery!! He did say sorry before, but only after he had spent about an hour sulking!

If I dont stand up to him, he will end up walking all over me. And I have decided that I am not going to be anybodys door mat!!!

enough is enough, I have said if you dont like it, clear off!:)

    have a good day x

well I thought I had better check my paypal account cos I sold 3 bundles of clothes (didnt get alot bout £6, but its start). and guess what, ebay has taken the money for fees! I wasnt even notified, I am not happy. that would have been another £6 off of debts. and its all gone. why oh why do I bother?

I thought the payments were done by DD.

(big sigh) oh well, back to square one! got loads more stuff to list this week.

hope you are all ok x

right need to be totally honest with myself here. I have 3 small debts that I have never included in my total debt figure.

I have decided to set myself targets and try and clear these 3 smaller ones by the end of this year. This should doable, if I stay focused and dont spend on the flaming catalogues when I'm feeling low.

    So debts to clear are:-

    1. Ace catalogue (on reduced payment plan) £302.22
    2. Next £319.60
    3. HSBC flexiloan £931.35

I am now trying to decide which to tackle first. I am not getting charged by HSBC as such for the flexiloan so thats not so bad.

What do you think guys? Im thinking HSBC cos its the highest, but then if I tackle the smaller ones first I might actually feel like im getting somewhere:)

Let me know your thoughts x

I don't know much about debt repayments. Hopefully someone clever will be along soon.

    Oi BLT where are you?

The obvious answer is the highest interest rate first, however, perhaps you should go for the feel good factor in the early days. Ticking off a credit account may give you the inspiration and motivation you need to carry on. Clearing debt is 90% mental attitude
