Do Tesco always refuse to sell broccoli without the stalk on?!

Easy peasy solution. Snap off your stalk like you nornally do and then use the self service checkout.
It won't ask you where the stalk is!
It won't say "Unexpected stalkless-broccoli in bagging area."
It will just weigh it and charge you accordingly.
Or...just as legal...put some items in your pocket and don't pay for them.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I don't think these can compare, at all.0 -
You might technically be done for criminal damage (as mentioned above)... but I really don't see why people are getting so worked up about the stalk on a sodding brocolli. Tesco will price in wastage anyway, but next time I'm in the shop I won't be fretting about the fraction of a penny the person opposite has cost me as a serial stalk-snapper.0

If it's really that much of a problem, they should buy them in without the stalks... just like they do with so many other products...
then they would be broccoli florrets not just broccoli!!! :rotfl:
and be more expensive :eek:0 -

Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

In jest, surely. It's really good for you, (see here, and here).0 -
Breathing causes cancer too.
Statistics shows that 100% of cancer patients breathed at one time or other in their life and 100% breathed 100% of their life...
When will the government stop this atrocity!0 -
