  • Hi, all!

Bottle (and can) recycling - to take to bottle bank later in the week on a w*** day
Arrange for people to come and do odd jobs and service range - to leave until after BH
Paperwork to file - today's pile to do
Freecycle items to post - done (now 25 takers for DS's PS1)
    WM - to do
Lemon curd to make - Tuesday
    Table mats to clean
Marrow and ginger jam - to be labelled and put into the pantry
    Stairs to hoover

Not sure how much I'll get done today - in the garden this morning, out for bike ride and tea this afternoon, curry with friends in the evening. However, I get a day off w*** tomorrow, so will be alone to get on properly.

    Dreaded beds - Not done

Stuff that wasn't on the list......

Bathroom (bog, sink & shelf - clear and clean) - DONE!
    Clean windows - DONE!
Get router hooked up and working - DONE!

Had a bit ofd a lazy day yesterday and feeling (slightly) bad looking at what others have achieved. Still, onward and upward. Baby steps and all that.

Mrs Fly thinks I'm having some kind of Mid Life Crikey the way I've been acting, particularly when studying the cleaning aisles in Tesco (didn't see Stardrops)

Well done everyone for what you have done!!!

Had a boogie this morning, also did 2x laundry, baked bread and a cake, and put ds2's books in a magazine file. Later on going to make labels for lunchbags, hoover the front room, put away laundry and do more ironing.
When asking OH if anything would be different when we married he said I might iron his shirts more often  he lives in t-shirts and ironing his shirts would be pointless in such a cramped wardrobe.
Halfway through sorting ds2s clothes out as lots are getting too small.
Enforced declutter of dds room as OH painted it - white wooden floor and lilac walls - so it looks beautiful already, even better when Ive replaced the 'zoo animal' curtains with the lilac/grey curtains :)

I do have a rule of not leaving a room or going up and down stairs without taking something with me. It seems to be working.

Like that one, SS! Might even try to enforce that with the rest of the Flys.-FlyBoy-

I have a completely clean, attractive and clutter free house for the first since the boys were born!:T

I have had another day off work today, and can finally say at 14.03 this afternoon (briefly) the house was clean and all the clutter is gone. It can't last, I am picking the boys up from nursery soon........

It has taken months of baby steps and some intensive work in the last few weeks but I am so pleased with myself

    Hex well done!

My younger child starts high school, next week, and my home hasn't been clutter free since my DD was born nearly 14 years ago

But you've shown me that it can, and will be done here, too.

    What are your top tips?
