Hi Phizzimum my littlest one has started school this week too, a couple of weeks until he is full time and like you and feel the excuses have gone!

I want to get things under control 9-3 have tea planned etc so that I can spend the time listening to them all when they are home. Changes in life are always challenging but it only takes 3 weeks to make a habit so we have hope. Good luck and see you here next week:D

Have picked lots of blackberries today and was unsure about stewing these (did aload with apples 2 days ago). Yo 'open freeze' them do you just wash them and put them in the freezer uncooked?
Thanks for letting me pick your brains, whilst I'm there how do you then use them eg in yr traybake? Do they go in frozen or do you defrost them first?

Hi Furry! I know I've menttioned it elsewhere, but I made my first batch of muffins yesterday, and they were a great success! I used blackberries, given me by a friend, and frozen. I just chucked them in, still frozen, and they melted and the huice leaked into the buns! Delicious! I'll paste the recipe, if you'd like!

Recycling bin - donePaperwork to file - today's pile to do (including Tax Credit form - did'nt notice that closing date brought forward to 31 August :eek
Borrowed items to return to friends - done
Marrow and ginger jam - to be labelled and put into the pantry
Stairs to hoover - Flybabay job!
Sofa diving - to do (Flybabies want to do this)
DH's wardrobe to clear out, and hoover.

Can report thet the Argos vacuum bags are similar quality to Lakeland, and considerably cheaper. Less choice of sizes, though.

well I've finally managed to re-join flylady...I've only used Yahoo for flylady and thought my username was a password - easily confused!

Just scanned through my welcome email and 31 day plan but couldn't take it all in. But i suppose that's the point, I don't have to (babysteps)

So I guess i'll start just doing the minimum - been getting dressed to shoes since start of school term anyway (but will happily confess that my sink has been a bit neglected!)

my youngest doesn't start school till thursday so will try and jump in with a bit more vigour then!

Cool thread.. I was doing the fly lady routine a year or so ago, it was going well, but then I was pregnant and things fell by the wayside. Since the birth of my 3rd child the house has gotten worse... plus since a week before birth DF has been working from home due to our office being subject to an arson attack, so it's pretty much a nightmare here right now.. hopefully only 6 weeks or so now until he can move out again. But then I have a huge mess to sort out.. I think I'll need to start this again and to work in baby steps otherwise it will drive me insane.
The whole house needs tidying, cleaning, de cluttering.. everything.
It's easier when the kids are at school too, other than the baby anyway.

Good luck to anyone starting this, once you get going it is rather fun. I do still shine my sink though, although not every day.. I do kitchen and bathroom and at least it's something!

Hope you have room for another enthusiastic flylady :)

Really pleased it is still running as I could really do with some support. I have one week to get my house up to scratch as I have a quiet week work wise so have no excuse not to get it sorted.

I have a hubby and two kids and over the years have gone from being very houseproud to being able to happily ignore it. I need to de-clutter and give it a good clean.

I started today and have sorted and filed all our paperwork, cleared out youngest DD's wardrobe and de-cluttered the lounge.

I have a very satisfying two black bags full of rubbish and black bag of outgrown clothes. Don't know what to do with these, have quite a few bags of outgrown clothes in excellent condition. OH wants to take them to the charity shop so they are out of the way, but there are £££'s worth and would really like to sell them to get some money back. Tried at boot sales in the past without much success and I don't know if I have time to ebay them

Tomorrow I have a small amount of ironing to do first and will then tackle a couple of rooms at least hopefully.
