TNG - Get yourself a microfibre cloth! Mine was £1 from the supermarket, they are in with the sponge wipes and things in the cleaning bit. Because they are slightly textured they take off a lot more dirt than plain cloth. You can machine wash them bu do not use fabric conditioner as it makes them too soft. They take dirty dried on dog marks off the wall using just water so win my eternal devotion. (easily pleased me......)

My OH and I had the day off yesterday, and with the boys still at nursery we are trotting through the list. The top floor is now clean and clutter free, our room is nearly done so another hours work and upstairs will be finished today, the garage and garden house have been sorted. In exchange for yet another new tool box he has sorted through most of his tools and bits, binning ruthlessly along the way. We have filled the trailer again since Sunday, and it is a 8' x12 trailer! Need to get on freecylce next.
Big jobs for today - still working top down so I have a ceiling to paint, and four carpets to wash. Tonight finishing tidy our room. Estate agents coming Tuesday so the clock is ticking.... I have my lovely boys today so a real limit to what I can get done without them generating more mess than I tidy!

Dinner cooked - have stuck to our menu ALL WEEK
    dried tent (don't ask)
got other camping stuff in to new shed

Will deffo get a microfibre cloth. I'm on the lookout for it, along with stardrops and that other stuff (something flora?). Will pay attention in the cleaning aisle in Tesco at the weekend at worst (first time for everything)

    This weekends tasks

Move stuff from falling apart shed to new shed
Knock down falling apart shed (a well aimed shove should do it)
Get cr*p from study into new shed
weedkiller on the garden and weed cover the lot (150sq m!!!!)
    Dreaded beds
    Keep on the hot spots
do a 27 item boogie (can't wait for that one)

Well done to everyone else doing stuff!!!!

I got my microfibre clothes from poundland , there is a pack of 3 for a £1 and they also have the large bath ones for a £1 too. I hunted high and low for my stardrops and eventually found it in sainsburys - a yellow bottle. My local tesco never had it.HTH .
Im still trying to get a grasp of fly lady but have now signed up and so far this morning have done dishes and pmade a loaf of bread. Im really hoping to get the meal things sorted out as its the bane of my life- oh how I dream of being efficent and menu planning !

    Ah, well, watch this space.....

In return for the advice and all of that and all the money I have saved, I am currently working on something that I hope will make menu planning a lot easier.

    More to follow......

EDIT: Got me thanks button going!!!!! Here they come people

Zoflora i think is the stuff you mean & thanks for the reminder, i've been meaning to get some for ages. Must restock my stardrops aswell. Hubby seems happy with it, much cheaper than all the other stuff we used to buy & does the job better if anything.
I'm halfway through cleaning my kitchen, got a visitor coming this afternoon & i'd be embarrassed to let her in at the moment. I really need to maintain it & I'm watching this thread for the push I need (hopefully). Best get back to the grindstone, stopping every 5 mins to see to children doesnt help much.

One small point I'd like to add here: If anyone has pets, please keep the zoflora away from them - tis poisonous to their nervous system :(

    Morning All!!

Everyone seems to have been very busy today!! Was completely lazy last night and didn't even do dishes as had horrible experience and just drank wine all evening. (on daily thread)

Anyway, today I'm off work!!! Yaaaay! So I can fly all day if the desire takes me.

    1) So far have done one load of washing and hung out.
    2) Another load in and spinning right now.
    3) Been to PO and posted parcel for DH.
    4) Made beds and swished bathroom.
    5) Loaded DW

    Need to:
    1) Clear front garden.
    2) Clean oven.
    3) Wash floors, dust & hoover (tonight as DH is working and little ones will be abed)
    4) Make a loaf
    5) Make pizza dough for dinner tonight.

Should also add DH will be cleaning windows ad fish tank today.

If I can do all that today then tommorrow can chill, do my nails and bake some goodies for in-laws.

Justin138 thanks for the Zoflora tip, I didn't know that.
TNG, with microfibre cloths, stardrops and Zoflora you'll need nothing else! Good luck.
Punky, think it was you said my in laws will be impressed, sorry if it wasn't and thank you to whoever did, Punky or not. They probably won't even notice, but I feel happier. My MIL is nice enough but we have issues like many DIL's and MIL's, no doubt I will be on the daily thread at some point in the next 2 weeks needing to offload from something she has said.

    Have a lovely day all.
