Had a bit of a tough week as OH is away. DS and I really miss him and this morning he called to say he'd missed his flight from Japan and won't be back till tomorrow pm

Been trying to Fly but it's difficult to be motivated. Have just reread this thread and Justin138/Jo you're a real inspiration. SO I'm getting off my back side to do the following:

15 min tidy up - should cover whole house
    Strip and make 2 beds
    Washing
    Ironing
    Hoover
    Mops floors
Clean ensuite & bathroom & dowstairs toilet
    Baking
    Food shop
    Return calls
    Blitz emails
    Switch gas/electricity supplier

    Here goes...

Looked at this thread out of curiousity yesterday, wondering what the heck a FlyLady Challenge was. Went home and 'did' me hotspots!!!!!

Might do the 27 item boogie next.....

Welcome TNG - great to have a Flyboy on board!

Have tidied up and down - took 30 mins rather than 15
    First wash on
    Cleared a few emails

Also have to wrap and deliver two pressies.

My 'treat' today is to watch Memoirs of a Geisha while ironing!

    Must get on...

    Need to do:
    1) Front garden!!! - off tommorrow, will have to do then even if it's raining!!
    2) Fish tank (DH will do this, I hope) - not done yet
    3) Mop floors ( will do Friday night before in laws come)
    4) Hoover upstairs (again Fri night before in-laws come)
    5) Dusting
    6) Strip our bed and wash sheets- done
    7) Strip DS bed
    8) Damp dust kids room again (that carpet needs to go, so much dust!!)
    9) Swish bathroom (Fri night)
    10) Clean oven.- will do when off tommorrow.
    11) 3 loads of washing.

House is looking great thanks to this flylady business, did lots of baking yesterday so even though haven't done much of my list don't feel too bad. Have a good day all.

Dang! Thanks button not working again....

    But thanks, Punky.

Unfortunately, my list is quite short as I have a small window of opportunity (that's NOT a euphamism!!) in between getting home and picking up my boys, but I did manage one wash and a dish wash load!!

    !!{pats himself on back}}

Tonight may be...... THE BEDS!!!!! AArrrggghhhh!

Basically dusting with a damp cloth. ( I use a microfibre one). All the surfaces in the kids room are purely practical, not wood etc like downstairs so I just wipe them over with a damp cloth, often put a bit of Zolflora into the water too particularly if they've been poorly to kill the bugs and freshen things up.

    Welcome by the way!!

Ta! (Thanks button STILL not working. They're in the bank, so when it's back up and running.......)

Ok, bear with me here. Two more questions.

    1. How would I identify a microfibre cloth? Does it come in a packet saying 'Microfibre cloths' or is it more cunning (I haven't paid too much attention to these things, I thought a cloth was a cloth)?

    2. Zolflora? {would insert shrugging smiley here but that's not working either}

Just striped and made one bed - god I hate that job - one to go.

Hi MimiF - you've really been flying the last few weeks - inlaws will be very impressed! I damp dust like you, never thought to add Zolflora to water though - great idea - thanks.

Bed number 2 here I come...

They are labelled as such on the packet :)

Comes in a box - it's a concentrated disinfectant and located with the other disinfectants in the supermarkets. The box containing the bottle is roughly the size of say ... a bar of soap on it's end, so don't be looking for something big :):)
