    Well done Justin138 - that is some ingenious thinking.

    You've inspired me - just completed my first 15 minute spurts ( 1 before and one after dinner)

    BEFORE: Cleared all kitchen worksurfaces, washed lunchboxes, peeled potatoes for dinner (plus extra for fishcakes for freezer). Stardropped all kitchen worktops and wiped down kitchen units. Set table and swept the floor.

    AFTER: Did washing up, wiped out microwave, made the fishcakes ( never my fav, all that egg n crumb stuff) Popped fishcakes in the freezer. Wiped the table. Washed the floor. Ran my DS bath.

    Feeling so inspired by all you were able to do that I am going to use the 15 mins that my DS watches "Rainbow" to blast through our two bedrooms.

    At this rate the house will be sparkling in no time.

    Be careful and don't do too much Justin 138 - if I was closer I would offer to pop over and use up some of this energy I have discovered this week.

    I have done my 1st 15 mins this morning.

    Washed up
    put WM on
    Out BM on
    and swept the kitchen floor.

    I love this idea you dont feel preasured into doing things. 15 mins is a nice about of time that you can fit in anywere and get loads done in.

    So a bigger house would just mean more junk!

    Chipps I just Lurv Don-Baby, I've had Is there life after housework, (just given my second copy to my sister) and Freedom from Clutter since some time in the eighties I think. I'm using his bathroom in 3 minutes (not in my lifetime but close) to do my Flylady challenge.

    Stunned - there is a kitchen nder all of the junk! Quite a nice one actually.

    Binning the microwave may have been taking the de-clutter too far though.....

    Jo, if you get the floor slippy clean you can get the kitties too polish it beautifully. Mine used to do a lovely job on the laminates sliding along quite happily. They used to race across the dining room on magazines chasing balls. Not hygenic, but great fun.

    Tuesday:

    More packing in kitchen; Two more cupboards packed
    Make some more phone calls - insurance and a couple of mail order places; Called phone company, power company and carpet cleaning place to clean rental carpet
    Wash duvet covers and air duvet inners; Washed mattress protectors, will do duvets tomorrow
    Check if electrician is going to put dishwasher in today; Not done - he had a problem with the instructions ?!? LOL
    Take overdue book back to Library Did this on my way to work this morning

    Also took waterbed around to new house, put it up and started filling it. That took TWO hours!!!

    Wednesday:
    Wash duvet covers and air inners;
    Visit builders to make final payment - mortgage here we come :(
    Pack some more in kitchen;
    After work take trailer and van load to house;
    Dinner;
    Another load;
    In amongst this make sure kids do homework (got a call from a teacher tonight!)

    Once the computer comes down we won't be getting internet access for possibly a couple of weeks - I will try and check in from work but can't guarantee it.

    So keep up the great work, everyone :)

    I get a daily digest from Flylady - it comes in about midnight - a tad early I think to be starting chores! Sadly I can't actually follow her directions to the letter, but some of the tips are good. For instance, I ALWAYS forget we're going to have to eat at some time during the day (definitely NOT a foody, can take it or leave it), so her reminder is good for me.

    One thing I can't understand is this business of de-cluttering. What is clutter? I don't think I have any, but couldn't rush around finding 27 boogies to fling if I tried.

    Hugs to everyone doing their best to fly today!
    Jo
    p.s. kitties are NOT my little slaves - they are angels and must sit around being waited on hand and foot. Therefore NO polishing floors for mummy. Sadly only 18 left now - we lost another one last Friday and grief has kicked in today bigtime. Should change my name to Jo18 now I suppose, but it's too hard to do.
