Thanks for replying. I always forget to eattoo during the day so it might be a problem for me !
I find cleaing a bit of a problem with the cats as they are scared of the hoover -so I hate to use it when they are curled up and sleeping ( as they look so cute ).I only have 3 cats so dont know how you manage anything with 18 . And I can never make my bed as there is usually one cat plonked on it. I get up in the morning and they dont get up to afternon. So as hoovering and bed making go I have to wait to pm- by which time i kind of forget or OH is in my way !0 -
Ah I know that scene well. Today I want to strip the bed - no chance yet! I have stripping it down to a fine art, but re-making it is beyond me except for the pillowcases. I too have a problem with the vacuum cleaner - I usually shoosh them all out of the lounge or the bedroom (the only places with carpet) and wheel the vacuum in. They KNOW it's gonna be noisy and scoot. But I feel awful doing it to them. To be honest, having 18 isn't as bad as it sounds - they're all good and except for fur they're no problem at all.
Justin doesn't worry if he's covered in fur (Sunberry WILL insist on sitting on his shoulders/back before he goes to work in the morning). His work colleagues retort, "Justin, you're COVERED in cat fur" to which he replies, "you think that's bad, you should see my cat" - makes me laugh. Also, if I ask him to do something, and there's a cat on his lap, he always says "I can't love - cat on lap" and it's NOT an excuse! He wouldn't dream of moving one off. Big softy.

Yesterday Justin had a half day from work, so we (he mainly) set to and now our home is sparkling clean and tidy. All I need to do today is vacuum the lounge - needs doing daily - and MAKE JAM and MARROW RUM (cherries from our tree, and marrows donated by a friend) - I'm gonna have such fun
Hopefully his niece is coming to stay for a few days, so she can help with making pizza faces for dinner tonight. :J
Now the place is gorgeous, I think I could "possibly" think about feeding us daily - he'd be gobsmacked if that happened! THANKS ladies & gents for giving me the impetus to get cracking that I needed. :T
Jo
p.s. I found some things LESS difficult than I thought they'd be! Anyone else disabled on here who wish to be in contact? We could swap ideas.0 -
