    Sorry, new to the terminology.....

    FlyBoy

Use a well wrung out cloth. It should be so well wrung out that it will be almost, but not quite, dry.

Unfortunately, my list is quite short as I have a small window of opportunity (that's NOT a euphamism!!) in between getting home and picking up my boys, but I did manage one wash and a dish wash load!!

    !!{pats himself on back}}

    :T :T :T And a pat on the back from me too! :T :T :T :T

Any achievement, no matter how small, is still an achievement! :T :T :T

    So far today:-

    ~ made all three beds
~ hung one washload on airers/hangers in bathroom
    ~ wiped down the bath/basin
~ kitchen sides cleared and wiped down
    ~ cat port-a-loo cleaned/disinfected/fresh paper and litter

Now rewarding endeavours with a coffee and a surf

    Second bed done - yipee!
    Second wash on

Will reward myself with lunch and crack on with the ironing/movie watching!

Hi Queenie - I tend to reward each task with a little surf - have to limit/time myself though as I get carried away....

:rotfl: Yes, it's very easy to get sidetracked on here :o That's why there are times where I go AWOL on here for a few days because I *know* that it can be both a blessing and a curse. The only way I can completely restrain myself is to keep the computer OFF

Just a thought (and seeing as you've all been so nice and helpful to me so far), just before you surf, set up a task or an appointment in Outlook with a title of 'Go Do something' (or similar) and do it so that it pops up a reminder at a given time. This may help you not to get sidetracked.....

Well got my baking done - Banana & Raisin Muffins and Banana bread to use up some ripe bananas. All other jobs will have to wait as I'm picking up DS and best friend to take to a birthday tea (with the muffins). Will do ironing this evening - PROMISE! ;)

Queenie - I'm sure I was more productive before MSE came into my life! Just wasn't saving quite so much money or knew so many fantastic OS tips.

    TNG - great tip thanks.

Hi & Welcome to newbie flyladies :) I'm amazing Justin and myself these past two days - I've been COOKING! - don't fall off your chairs! Yesterday I made HM pizza (from scratch) and frozen chips. And today I cooked stuffed marrow and mash. With the other half of the marrow, I'm making marrow & ginger jam. HE is gobsmacked! I'm kernackered! but happpppy!

We have his niece staying, and she's much more of a hindrance than a help, but I'm teaching her how to knit and sew, so that's taking up my Flylady time, but it's worth it (I hope).

Thanks Punky for your kind comment - I HOPE to inspire wherever I can because the ladies here have been wonderful to me too.

Sorry, but I'm absolutely :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: at myself, because since my last post ... I've been dreadfully sidetracked and spent far too much time on here debating :o

Great tip :T (sadly don't have Outlook, but I'll programme my phone alarm instead ... ... it has a snooze :o )

*Note to self: Must try harder*
