Here goes HHC - lets see if I can make a dent to the clean washing mounting residing on my bedroom floor...

Oops got distracted with some food recipes for half an hour. Anyway - the mountain is gone but then got carried away and pulled out all the stuff from my wardrobe shelves so there is now another mountain replacing the old one. But the pile to be binned is getting bigger :D and it shouldn't now take me more than 15 minutes to finish (unless I want to tackle the wardrobe floor as well )

Just had a call from msgnomey to say she's on her way over to collect some coffee I bought for her from Costco this morning. I have madly dusted the lounge and main bedroom and hidden the washing pile...

'Fess up! One of you sent her to check I've actually done what I said, didn't you?! :rotfl:

Mon, Tues and Friday lists are done

When OH gets up I'll do the rest of upstairs.

All washing done and on the line

    Been to Newbury

Cleaned my car, and at the same time had to 'judge' the kids next door 8 and 6 or there abouts, who were having a water fight, they wanted to know which one of them was the wetest! I told them it was a draw, but kids being kids weren't happy with that and wanted an out right winner, but they are both soaked, draw it was.

Planted on and been in the garden, loads of weeding done, plants sorted to car boot tomorrow, just got to load up car now.

    Back later

:T:T:T glad to see the infection is spreading! My dad is obsessed so I have always been vaguely into plants, even in my 20s. Just remember if you spend too much money it was Serena and Dusty, not me :rotfl:. It is addictive once you start though. I liked Jojos post the other day about having pretty flowers instead of MSE veg :T. I much prefer pretty to practical outside.

Whilst I was outside DS2 made a number of flags and flagpoles which he has planted aorund the garden - they have crowns and a picture of me on so everyone knows I am 'Queen of the Garden' :A:rotfl:.

I just had to chase a Hen out from under the dining table, and remove the *coughs* 'item' it had decluttered on the carpet. Apart from that the place is still rather clean.

ETA Toots - I meant to ask how much sun does your garden get/which way does it face?

Hex - you are the Queen of the garden

Really achieved very little today. Not even got outside much so going to sit outside now.

    Cooking ?

I want to cook veg like they do in Italian restaurant as a side dish - just the standard way that they come with say your grilled fish. How do I do that please?
