I've loaded the car with the settee and bed base and I had to have a serious talk with myself to do that *yawns* I'm so tired, it's hard work lugging it about all by yourself, although one old fella at the tip asked if I wanted a hand to lift the mattressess over the wall, Bless but no thanks, it looked like it might do him in as he was very frail and I'm a stubborn 'I can do it myself' mule. , serious self-talk needed to go again.....self talk....I'll regret it in the morning when I have to do 3 runs instead of 2 hmmmm just one more then you're done for today.....ok .....I'm going. Via the chippy and Blockbusters for 2012....I've earned it0

I had the brakes on my car checked - they are fine, bought a baby carrier from a woman on netmums and then made the mistake of going to tesco. Yuk. Spent £50 on what seems to be only enough food for 3 meals plus a few bits, mind you the tuna steaks for tonight were £5.85 for two  guess it's still cheaper than eating out.
Got back to a grumpy DH moaning that he 'has to do everything' which isn't true, though he has done the bulk of cleaning etch since I got pregnant. What annoys me is the underlying belief that it's really my job...I presume because I'm female and his mum always did everything for him. Having said that he's now cooking dinner :rotfl: I did scour the cast iron griddle that we thought we'd ruined though (no one told me you're meant to season them!)...can anyone tell me what I need to do to stop stuff burning on in the future?
I finally put our wedding disposable camera pics in an album today, and have my instructions to go through some of my carp in the spare room. I am in the mood for flinging so I can do that.
Going to quickly tidy up in here before dinner so we can relax tonight.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Pah! That's only mild panic :rotfl:
Msgnomey says she'll be critiquing my cleaning standards later....

Have had a lovely day at Pensthorpe with DD and the french student, hadnt been for years and had forgotten it was so lovely and the sun shone the whole time we were there. Kids loved following the trails and were rewarded with 2 small easter eggs each as they were finishing the egg hunt this weekend. Have since done a small shop in Mr T mostly bits DD asked for but DH said to treat her as she has been so good with the student. He has now gone to work, DD is walking the dog and student is sleeping, I think we wore her out!
Suppose I better go and get some tea ready now then think about sorting and doing washing as I'm back at work tomorrow afternoon again. 5 1/2 day weeks both this week and nextBedding on the line.. first 2 lots dried and brought in.
Wool bought for the baby.. in the approriate colour.. which is.... pink or blue..
Squeak appears to have got himself breech ways up again and is kicking 7 bells out of my bladder which is agony.... if we don't get some good behaviour I won't be getting one with my knitting and he can freeze! lol2nd skip run complete woohoo! I've got organised piles left now, settee and bed base will be next and possibly all the architrave, depends what I can fit in. Wasn't enough room for bed base on the last run but I did manage to squeeze in 2 bin bags of todays found carp so, yay! Bet I'm boring you all silly aren't I
