Rach, oil the food not the griddle, make sure it is really hot before you add the food. If mine needs a good clean then I fill it with water and then pop it on the hotplate until it bubbles the grim off (sometimes add a dash of washing up liquid) HTH

Did my pilates dvd (only 20 minutes) it is depressing how bad I am at exercises I used to do with ease. I must make it a daily, how hard can it be to put aside 20 minutes a day!

    DS1 back.

My dinner nearly ready then I'll get the washing in an sweep the slate terrace.

Have you thought about organising an outside tap that you can fit a hose to? If it's not too expensive, go for it gal!
thanks soappie I had thought about it but dreaded another workmen bill!!! I also thought about a rainwater tub so I wouldnt have quite so far to walk and wouldnt be splashing it about in my newly painted hallway!!!

greenbee ther are flights in and out of scotland to the us and canada.

natty thanks sweetie - i got your text and replied - was just wondering if we needed to come and prise you out of bed or anything:rotfl: hope you coped ok with toxic:D
kazm good luck with the student xx
mags_cat that must have been scary - glad you didnt have an accident or any incident while you were changing it as so often happens!
embb :rotfl::rotfl: you should have got the ghurkas to help!!! You have done an amazing amount of decluttering - very impressive:T
hex I had forgot about lilies - i used to have them in previous gardens - i could do them and yes things that are scented - I got the thomson and morgan catalogue and they are advertising scented freesias which i have been resisting but may give in if I can sort out the finances this month! not sure about dahlias as you have to lift them and store and I really dont think i would do that. WTG DS2 !!!! hex the front faces due north and the back due south (as it happens:rotfl:) I sit at the back - the front is very small and only need things to make it look prettyish - the back is where i would spend my time and gets the sun virtually all day on the good sunny days

mags_cat maybe she is piggers secret agent!!!:rotfl:

I have had a nice quiet day - i was out at a 'quiet day' run by the church - we read poems and meditated and then tried to write poetry of our own - quite relaxing and lovely food and I got to know a lovely lady who wants to keep in touch - she lives in another parish - and has given me some ideas of things to do.

need to go and phone an elderly friend who lives in a home as my friend C and I are planning to visit her next week.

    back later
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

OMG  I did pull everything out from my wardrobe floor. What have you done to me? The result is that now I finally have my own collection of books on my book shelve (instead of ones meant to be sold), Wardrobe looks fabulous (there is still couple of boxes of craft books that I am not sure if I want to keep or sell) if you don't look at the top shelve :o My bedroom floor is full of stuff and I hardly can get in.

Going to put DD to bed, have a little sit down and then tackle my way back into my bed room.
