Devon's where its at baby! Which bit?

    Beesands...

My bedroom curtains are on the line drying. Have been driven to the shops and back by NN. I'm now having a cuppa before I unpack. I think I shall do some writing this afternoon.

One load washing on the line, wm back on again, dw on. Clean clothes folded but need put away. I'll leave that until kids room done. Their room will take all day so i better get started, i'll be dragging them with me.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Two kids beds stripped and washing on the line

Been and got perspex for the coldframe and the playhouse to be repaired
Got cork pinboard to block the fireplace in DS2 room - that was the last thing to get for there - just the mattress to arrive still.

    Paid a bill on line.

Need to drop DH and boys at the station in a bit so I'll do a couple of jobs in town whilst I'm there and then when I get back:

    A bit of gardening
    A bit of pilates
    Clean one window and frame
Find some phone numbers to book some appointments next week
Look online for a blind for shower room.

2 tonnes of top soil de-cluttered from pavement at the front of the house to back garden

Having a rest till BF feeds me, then next is the turf

For once I'm wishing it wasn't so warm, and slightly annoyed that can't do BF washing as can't hang it out to dry :rotfl:

This is the short version, spent 7 minutes concocting the best post ever in the history of forums and the stoopid thing lost it  Flung 1001 items out of shed, cut front grass, hoovered entire downstairs, WM x 2 done, 3 other loads dried in wind, up and down stairs a million times carrying stuffs, flung a bin bag at littley and told her to fill it with carp from her room, emptied Henry, found 2 lawnmowers and 2 strimmers !!!!!!? 2 will be going, front grass cut, battalion of Ghurkhas found, fed them and sent them packing, mattresses moved round garden, OH's now turned up so best make a brew. x

Getting there slowly... things certainly look better, although as always, the utility room and study end up bearing the brunt of the tidying. Fingers crossed that having the new shed will finally resolve this, and lots of the utility room stuff will be able to go outside, and I'll be able to make better use of the utility room.

Guess I should head off to buy veggies now, so I'm back by the time my parents arrive. I wonder whether I have the energy to make them a cake for tea...

ETA - embb - do you have someone who keeps putting junk in your shed 'just in case' because it might be 'useful' one day? I live on my own, and yet my dad, brother, builders etc seem incapable of throwing things out... I have to make sure I check after they've been helping out and get rid of stuff that is clearly rubbish...
