It's another weirdly quiet day in Surrey (can't get used to NO aeroplane noise) and we now seem to have ask falling through the atmosphere (bright sunny day is very autumn misty look).
It's quiet here too - no helicopters (which is what we get most of) and I suspect we had more aeroplane noise than I was aware of. We've got the kind of mistiness too, so I guess that's the ash... maybe not a day for laundry then!

Maybe people will see the wisdom of investing in rail infrastructure now rather than increasing our reliance on air travel... we do sometimes need to remember that we can't control nature and that we need to have variety to allow us to adapt to changes... anyone remember the theory of evolution :p:p

Got lots of work work done last night, but little flying, so need to have a thorough tidy up and clean in preparation for my parents arriving this evening. Plus find out whether by brother and SIL are going to come over for supper before starting their holiday, as if so I need to change my meal plan...

DW is loaded and on... need to have breakfast and then get moving.

That should keep me quiete for a bit. I also have a broken fridge but stoopid greedy council want to charge me £35 to take it away, they can get lost. So will ponder what to do with it later. After all that I'm gonna have a shower, have tea and wait for Britains Got Talent to start yay!

    laters dudettes :hello: xx
That's what ours chrges for up to 5 items -

Had a phone call last night to say Sky installer would be here at 8 am
had to open the door in me towel -he was early and I was just getting dry

anyway another gorgeous day here, too. washing on line and another load in now; then ironing to do later:D

Never thought of those of you 'missing' plane noise - they fly high over here so not noisy really so I haven't noticed.
A little plane was chugging about yesterday!

same here, though I think the mist is clearing now...haven't looked out the back again though!

Had a busy work day (at home) yesterday and didn't get back on here. DH did some more moving around last night so today's job is to finish it all! All was well with the midwife which is great.

I did quite a few of my jobs yesterday and will get more done today. I have a parcel to collect from the sorting office so will nip out soon for the bus to go.

It's a beautiful morning here on the south coast. Little hazy out to sea, but clear skies inland. I think I'll find some curtains to wash.

NN is driving me out shopping later bless her.
