if the £100 was in the account at the end of March is there any reason to keep it in now until the £25 is paid?
What does everyone think... better to be safe than sorry??Will there ever be a boy born who can swim faster than a shark?0 -
I would leave it there until the £25 arrives!s100 wrote:What's this "GAme over" Business? Sorry if I've just been asleep for awhile!
This was when they changed the terms&conditions for those using the Times advert code (from deposit £100, to you must mandate your salary) Very cheeky if you ask me! I sounds like they were very rude to people who tried to sign up around this time!0 -

mate, what you do is, keep the money in there until end of April, beginning of May.
First Direct said that the £100 has to be deposited into the account within 3 months of the opeing of the current account. so, if you've deposited the initial £100 into the account at the end of march, its within the 3months of the offer being introduced.
so, i recogn, keep your £100 in the account, and they will deposit the Joining Incentive of £25 into your account within the next 28 days of the money depositing your first direct current account.
my £25 was put into my account 18 days after i deposited my £100 into the account.
Worth the wait,
hope this helps!0 -
