  • I'm pretty sure that Fox's crunch cream biscuits have reduced in size/length of the packet, grr!
  • At Asda this morning I cant believe its not butter is now 400g (was 500g). I was staring at it thinking that doesn't look right.

The tub looked like someone had squashed it.

my supermarket has the 500g tub at Mr T's and 400g tub for Asda.

Saw these in the warehouse at work before I went on holiday

Kit Kat Pop Chocs 140g bag now 117g. It looks pretty obvious as well. Also numerous multipacks of Nestle/Rowntree chocs as well.
  • Apologies if this has already been mentioned but Asda liquitabs used to come in a tub of 22 but now they come in a bag of 20. I don't know if they are the same price though.

Still cheaper than Persil or Ariel though.

  • I'm still keeping a look out for shrinking food items and was surprised to see the size of my Oasis drink. It used to be the normal 500ml but..........I picked one up as part of the Tesco lunch meal deal and was shocked to see it now selling as 375ml !!! Thats a huge difference and had it been for the need label, I wouldn't have noticed.

Fish fingers..any brand you care to mention. I thought at first that they looked bigger when I had them as a kid so smaller as an adult but no, they are smaller. Birds's Eye vegetable fingers are smaller too. The most outrageous shrinkage is the size of plain Quorn fillets, they are more like fingers !

I noticed the other day that Douwe Egberts coffee is now reduced in size down to 95g and 190g jars. That's a 5% price increase and probably equates to one less cup per 95g jar. Doesn't sound much but over a few hundred thousand jars that's a lot of coffee.

Tesco baby wipes haven't only shrunk, they've doubled in price - from 23p to 46p!
