I am also cross to note that the muller&ite in my fridge is only 175g - when did this change ?

When they changed the packaging - about 6 weeks ago
  • Coors light in bottles used to be boxed as 15 x 275ml, now is 12 x 330ml.
  • Gourmet Cat Food has gone from 12 sachets to 8 ok price has dropped from around £5 to about £3.50 but still a pain

Anyone see Watchdog the other day, talking about this? They mentioned Heinz Farmer's Market soups, down from about 515g to 400g. Really annoyed that I bought a couple and didn't realise.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.
  • I've noticed recently that shampoo bottles and shower gels have gone from 500ml to 450ml. I usually buy whatever's on offer so don't have regular's but a lot of the bottles have been 'stylishly' redesigned to hold less!
  • Yesterday I bought Aspall's white wine vinegar as I was making mango chutney, I found that they have shrunk their sizes of bottles for all products from 500ml down to 350ml! A massive 150ml, how can they justify this? I have sent them an email of complaint also telling them that they have lost a faithful customer.

Do these manfacturers think that we won't notice or that we are all stupid?

ASDA own brand cheesy wiggles, 8 pack for £1.30.
Now rebranded with "chosen by you" packaging, 6 pack at, yes you guessed it, £1.30.
Their reply was they either increased the cost due to suppliers rises or cut the pack size.
Can their profit margins really not take a 10p hit per pack, seeing as they've reduced the size by a whole quarter?
  • I normally buy Tetley One cup tea bags in whichever £1 shop I visit. But this time I didn't notice that instead of the old 100 tea bags, the box says there are only 88 , for the same price of course.

I stack shelves for asda, the other night i had imperial leather soap which didn't match what was on the shelf, instead of 4x125g they are changing to 4x100g, if i didn't do this job i would never have noticed. The 4x125g were reduced to clear too so obviously a replacement not an alternatice option SNEAKY SWINES!
