Might have been noticed already, coco pops 375g and 295g both £1.99 in Morrisons just now. Suspect the 375g will disappear soon (not many left) leaving only 295g avaliable.

Kellogs Nutrigrain, used to be 8 in a box but now 6 for the same price.
Nah, the price went down by about 20p.

Still not as good as before though.

  • The dual use of metric and imperial measures, especially in advertising, works against consumer interests and prevents fair price comparisons (e.g. try comparing prices of milk sold in 4 pint and 2 litre bottles). For example, fruit is sold by the kilogram in supermarkets and normally by the pound at market stalls.

The continued legal use of supplementary indications has made this possible and is a disaster for consumers.

I would like moneysavingexpert.com to support moves to complete metrication in the UK and abandon imperial measures.

The government has been reluctant to go any further on metrication because they are afraid of the Eurosceptics and their supporters in the tabloid press. I want to see the measurement muddle ended and the UK standardize on the metric system as its sole measurement system.

Whereas I would rather abandon metrication - the cause of the swindles we have been subjected to over the past few decades.

Glad to see several leading supermarkets now switching back to a measurement system people actually want.

I hate these new cartons that 'tinned' tomatoes are now coming in. Instead of the 400g tin, it's 390g in the carton. The difference is really noticeable when i make my usual spag bol or chilli so i end up using another 1/2 carton.

I'm sure Yakult have got smaller and they are tiny anyhow. Hardly ever buy them but got them for DS1 as a treat and they are now 65ml

The Innocent smoothies look and feel so much smaller at 750ml compared with a litre.

Surely no-one is duped by the 2 for £4.

Nature Valley bars. New Crunchy & More flavour has only 5 packs in the box selling at £2.39 which is the same price as the older flavours that have 6 packs in the box.

I got some of those large mushrooms the other day from Tes, they've always had four in, for £1, now they've only got 3 in, same price! So kids had to have one and a half each! To much grumbling...
Saving as much as possible to replace all the things I've had years and are on their way to the knackers yard
