Hi Albie, I know, them phoning work was one of my scenarios and they are not allowed to do it so you could report them if they do... but reporting them is too late after the  event... they can't discuss your account with anybody and no one on here has said they have tried to do that so I decided to have a 'story' at the ready for my employer just in case, something like you are contesting bank charges or something or they have paid a standing order twice/not reduced your credit limit when you asked them to etc
That makes me feel a little better Ted:) I was mortified at the thought one of my colleagues or boss found out:eek:. Yes, I will get a "story" together, just in case:):p.
Just out of interest, if I ring them up before the receive my tokens and/or contact from Payplan, with a new mobile number (freebee pay as you go sim), I'll arouse suspician? :cool:Debt £22k (ish):eek:LBM April 2010DFD - work in progressPaddle no. 26"whether you think you can or you can't, your probably right"0 -

Yoohoo, back again, DH was running in the Edinburgh 10k so we had to be there at the crack of dawn to get a FREE parking space (only 10 in the whole of Edinburgh), and we did!and he did! and I nearly strangled the DJ who wittered on for nearly 3 hours.about nothing. But OH did very well, came in under 1 hour and didn't have a heartattack on the hills (lots in Edinburgh) Now chilling on the sofa..........
You were all talking lots of good sense last night, was it sooper dooper paddles or a wee alcolholic charge, what ever it was good sense.
Mikon, you deserve a special mention, well done, I think you've got by Jove!!!!!More than Two Years in

Hi
Can I join this merry throng? I am currently embarking on a DMP after trying all sorts of avenues and not suceeding.
I am in the good hands of CCCS and have just completed all my letters to creditors, opened a new bank account and just need to return my docs to CCCS.
I keep thinking, as some of you seem to, have I done the right thing BUT things were going to come to a head one way or another so I suppose I am.
It will be interesting the responses I get from the creditors I have been paying correctly, the others are probably half expecting this to be honest.
Lets see what happens next week as all my DD loan and cc payments are due and I think it will be quite horrendous when the phone starts.
Wish me luck

Hi Eyeopener,
We are at the same stage as you only we are doing a self administered DMP. Letters are sitting on the dining room table ready to post:eek: very scary but strangely calming at the same time.
I have been a good mummy today and made chocolate brownies, choc chip cookies, and a roast chicken dinner, and its supposed to be a day of rest.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Welcome Eyeopener! Yes you've done the right thing! Your phone might not be too bad if the calls haven't started yet and you are already armed with your cccs number, and ready to send out your letters. Our worst call period was when we were deciding what to do and sending token payments.
So lots of luck...you'll not need it, keep posting lots of lovely peeps with advice, support and lots of laughs to keep us going!DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -
