Hi everyone,
Sorry haven't been around for a couple of days, have been feeling a bit off colour and down about this DMP thing this week.:( Can't even concentrate at work properly (I know I need my job more than ever now) and getting iritated with myself.
Just kicking myself now for the mess I've got myself in and that in order to sort it out I must do the DMP but I seem to not be able to bite the bullet. Anyway Tues Payplan are calling so will have a chat to them. Just think I'm not going to be able to cope with the calls and if any creditors call at work that will be a nightmare:eek::eek:
Maybe I'm having mid thirties crisis (35 tomorrow:)), and as my OH is 10 years older than me and we're getting married in Sept this year, its bit of a pants way to start ouir life together, particularly as we not in our early 20's and would like kiddy winks before OH is too old (my Father was a lot older and I lost him a couple of years ago).
Sorry everyone, am usually very upbeat but I guess we can all have a wobble now and then.
Just to say it is so heartwarming to see everyone being so supportive on here..lots of dodgy hugs!! :grouphug:

NO WOBBLING its not allowed!!!!
Albie you need to sort it out and now is as good a time as any. We have 22 creditors and have only had 6 phone calls, all of whom were OK, a bit dim, but OK. All sorted out and 21 have stopped interest and Lloyds just reduced to 6% (from 26.9) so OK. We are in our fifties, and you really don't want to leave it like we did. We're now racing to clear off mountain of debt before we retire...............wish we had done it years ago, really.
So NO WOBBLING, makes it very difficult to pour out the wine when you are wobbling!!!More than Two Years in

Hi PDD,
:rotfl::rotfl:You have made me laugh!:D Yes I know I should keep steady and pull myself together:o I am good at sorting out other peoples problems but not my own sometimes, for some strange reason.
Its good to know you have only had a few calls so am just hoping it will be the same for me. Just feel like a twit at the mo, arrgghhh.
I think if I had a house and not a flat I would feel better about the whole thing...but I do try to remind myself that some people are far worse off than OH and I. Plus, like you say, if I keep on leaving it and the debt gets bigger:eek:, then it will be more to pay off the older I get. I admire that you are dealing with things so well.Plus it would be nice not to have that horrible guilty feeling you get when you really need something but you have to get the plastic out to pay for it!

I'm here!! *waves frantically through the tumbleweeds*
I'm supposed to be watching the marathon to look out for my friends who are insane enough to want to take part but just watching it makes me tired :rotfl:
The meltdown is officially over, I can't work out what exactly went wrong but I'm taking Ted's stance and having the weekend off. Afternoon off tomorrow so I'll sort it then. Have decided that DMP "proper" will start from May's paypacket on 15th - it will I tell youPaddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
Morning PDD and True:)
No running here, or sun.....fighting a mountain of carp for ebay.....not much top quality carp either so not sure its worth the bother!! Although I wonder if the tumbleweed will sell?
Yay True - good weekend off stance and here's to 15th MAy:beer: Don't be thinking of the Aldi True shop......tis only a small and potentially lethal store, nearly had to bash a young shop boy over the head last time I was there due to his outrageous attitude, clearly he had missed his calling and should have been working in a cc call centre:mad:DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -
Morning havent been on in a couple of days so have been catching up this morning.
Welcome mikon and well done for getting the ball rolling, i am pretty much at the same stage as you, have just changed my bank account and now plan to make contact with cccs, (dont knw why im delaying) suppose really im just s***scared!
Very interested in the token payments I thought you had to wait till you had actually started with cccs before sending these, I am really struggling this month to make my payments and am running about a week behind all due dates and i have had 3 phone calls this week could not believe how quick they contacted me honestly nothing is more that a week late so that has scared me a bit. have a big payment of £120 to make was going to send tomorrow but it does leave me with nothing for rest of week. Should I just send them a token payment then? and should i start sending all my creditors token payments even though I havent started cccs yet?
Sorry for long post! am going to clear out kids wardrobes to day and find lots of old clothes for ebay. Most of my baby equipment sold now through local free ads just a double buggy to go now and i put in a slide and climbing frame which they no longer need thats about all my big stuff then so hopefully will have enough to decorate my hall, I am quite proud of myself for funding this myself have never done that before it always been mr plastic fantastic hence the mess im in!
O dont think ive updated you all about the co-op yet but my paperwork and debit cards arrived on Friday:j so just the cheque books and pin numbers to come now, then the dreaded task of moving all the dds:eek:
Speak later guys and have a good Sunday.LBM - March 2010Paddle no. 15 :j0
