  • Morning

I'm not that fond of sausage, can I have a black pudding instead????

DFD is sometime in the distant future, I don't like to set a date cos it depresses me, maybe it will just creep up on us, unannounced like.

Don't think I want to fly again on hols, just a complete mess, just imagined being marooned with young children, eeeugh. We've booked a wee break in UK this summer and I'm quite glad as I think the demand and the prices might go up now as a lot of folk might not want to risk flying again this year. mama are you booked, get moving if you aren't.

off to work, see you later

morning, quick fly by as on a deadline; unfortunately the file I am typing at the moment is one of the pure hell ones, grrr! After I've finished it I must get my CV sent out to law firms and ring round the agencies again; not to mention write my favourite debt collectors a lovely little letter!!

how are we all? I'm going to treat myself to blueberry pancakes when I finish this file as the blueberries were on special at my tesco yesterday and need munching quick :) can't wait!

Lucky you, in times like these we really look forward to simple pleasures!

For the first time in years I'm looking forward to what I might get for Christmas and my birthday, before dmp I used to just get what I wanted when I wanted it with CC and never really enjoyed it....

  • Congratulations True, sausage or black pudding suits me, yum yum.

Having another wobble here. Egg called again but I didn't answer, guess they don't talk to each other, was told no contact last night, grrrrr.

On a a positive note am going to make a big chilli later for the freezer. I used to be terrible for take aways but that clearly has to stop.

Also going to look into changing fuel supplier. I tried the website the CCCS sent in their letter, if it's correct I could save £186 a year. Any advice anyone?

Know what you mean about holidays and also never REALLY appreciating things before. I think I'm going to be much more contemplative in future!

    Enjoy the day everyone xx

    Hello.

I bit the bullet and answered my phone today after ignoring(on the CCCS's advice) calls for the past two days. It was one of the payday loan companies and in fairness, they weren't too bad. they tried to persuade me into not paying my other creditors in favour of them but I told them that wasn't going to happen and that they'd be receiving copies of my DMP confirmation letter shortly. I was hoping it might be in the post today so I could have them all sent out by the end of the week but no luck. nevermind, today is actually eerily quiet on the phonecalls/emails front, yesterday was ridiculous, I must have been called at least 40 times and received more than a dozen emails, all of which I responded to with my DMP reference number and telling them that I would be sending them letters by post with token payments.

perhaps it's a case of the calm before the storm but for the time being I'm enjoying the peace and quiet.
    jusqu'ici tout va bien
  • Paolo Maybe they actually took a note of your CCCS number yesterday and that's why they aren't calling to-day, be positive, you will get it sorted.

Vic are you there? Finally terminated this morning for one of the RBS accounts, never felt a thing and they will now suspend all interest and deal with CCCS. Providing I am good and pay the payments, they won't start interest again. Hallelujah, think that may be a result???
True, where is my black pudding???

Pleased you got the result you wanted PDD. Do you mind me asking what terminating means and do they actually use that terminology? Am still a bit unclear as to whether Creditors fix for short times or for the duration of the payback providing the DMP is at the same level etc. Feel my knowledge has increased lots over the past few weeks but heads also throwing up soooooooo many questions.

Massive chilli on the go, been to the Coop made the most of special offers including Andrew that matches my bathroom beautifully and worked out cheaper than downbranded as I took advantage of special offer. Think my new hobby is going to be deciding what to cut back on and what's a must, like Andrex and Heinz tomato sauce.

Changed the last of my direct debits over today, yay. Can't wait to get started.

Fantastic weather up Norf, set to continue for the weekend, going to try and spend some time outside, not worrying about money and dmp!

    HHx
  • Hi Hopelessly (you're definitely not!!)

Apparently this is how RBS deal, they default you, while charging interest, then after 30 days they terminate you (that's me!) and 28 days after that they will cease interest and accept DMP. I think its a wee wheeze just to add on a couple of month's worh of interest. Weather isn't nice here at all, its cold and grey, I'm not long in and haven't really heated up yet.
