Some of you who are reading but have other things on your mind or maybe dont have time to scribble a quick post every day, how about you call in and say hi once a week or so just to let us all know that your still around and things are okay.

I agree with mephista I think people should give quick update and then we know how everyone is getting on even if they have nothing to say we know you are there. Just giving you my views for what there worth.

Well today at least started on a good note. I did have money over at the end of last month and with Council Tax and a Water rate free month this month I have just transferred those monies into my savings account. Online banking is wonderful :T
By 12.45 I will know if I still have a job. Scary in both scenarios, certainly will never see the size of the cheque I will get if it is me again in my life. Not sure I want the hassle of working out what to do with it and then looking for a new job, having been in this one since leaving school 39 years and 4 months ago:eek: If I wasn't single, guess it would be an easier choice.

February being a shorter month will hopefully be better for all of us money wise.

    We worry so:o:o

I'm sooo guilty! I pop on here almost everyday to catch up but if I've nothing to report, or there's no one waiting on advice I just slope back out again :o

I was wondering whether to go down the FOS route but I am a little nervous, not sure why things like this don't normally bother me.

    Soooo, might go for it.

I will let you all know what, if anything, happens.

Eyeopener, is your complaint barclaycard? If so did you get a reply from them? I'm said on my original letter I wanted a reply within 4 weeks, so I'll give them a little longer then I am going to complain to FOS if I get nowhere. Because mine was only a really small debt to start with by adding on interest and 2 x £12 in charges every month they have managed to more than double it
  • Good luck for today Gibbs!

Will keep my fingers crossed for you x

And that's a ditto from me Gibbs. I'm sure you already know you have the backing of us all no matter what happens and I just hope that whatever the decision, it works out for the best for you.
    Debt at DMP start (1st Oct 10) £30,838k :(. Debt of DMP as of 11th May 12 £12,170k :o.
  • 70 miutes, but whose counting? Morning has dragged, no one has come back and said how they've got on yet 3 down 3 to go in, me last. Like the Marie Celeste people go out and the office gets emptier until 12.45 when they come can back if they want to.

  • Probably bad form replying to ones own post but just to say your fingers can be uncrossed. I am safe, so should be able to get my 40 years in. Weird thing, but like I said the money on offer was very good, so although I am relieved at having the job I like and know so well still will wonder what change the money would have made if I had been pushed out of the nest. Think I like this outcome.
