Louby - Triton were a pain for me but have settled down now. Can't answer your question as I'm unsure which letter you were asking should you send?
Ted
OH also tried to answer the automated questions but it just kept saying it couldn't hear him! With me it just 'heard' that I was able to pay the whole amount! What a waste of money:mad:
Just puting the phone down now.DMP mutual support member 3970 -
Thanks Tedsd, I haven't sent this letter yet but will do in the morning. Previously I had sent a letter asking that all communication be in writing. This resulted in the phonecalls stopping for a couple of weeks but now they are making up for last time.
Thanks again

ps. Ellies, if you are with Sky calls they will block the calls for you until it's sorted....
Ted
The calls are being made to my OH's mobile, he can't change his number as it is used for his business

Hi newbeginning,
good news re Lloyds but  re CCCS....doubled!!!??? Think I'd have no choice but to go down the UE route if that happens to me. Must have been a bit of a shock for you both. Hope you're ok.
Ted x
I've thought about UE but it all seems way to confusing for my liking. Who'd have thought we'd be celebrating our accounts being sold to the debt collectors!!!0 -

However advice from folks on here says that Nat West have a set procedure which they always follow so i'm trying to be patient.DMP mutual support member 3970 -

Don't forget to send it recorded delivery. Very important.
And keep a record of all calls, date and time.

Hi Broke,
what a time you're having. Just looked back on some of your other posts and it seems to be one thing after another! I really don't know about Payplan, I know CCCS are good if the washing machine has blown up or the car has broken down etc... I would give Payplan a ring or try posting this on the main board as someone may have been in the same situation and be able to help. Someone on this thread may also be along soon who can advise you....
Good luck
Ted
Cheers Ted,
It turns out that it's not the end of the world as I had suspected, I emailed my contact at payplan and explained that I had checked my bank account and it had shown my payment as having been sent so I assumed everything was ok and did some essential christmas related shopping over the weekend which eneded up clashing with the £145 going out all for the sake of £20. My contact said it was fine and that he didn't expect there to be many problems with my creditors, especially because I have lots of creditors and my payments to them are so small that most of them hardly even notice them. He even asked me if I wanted to reduce my monthly payment temporarily to a bare minimum of £1 a month per creditor but I told him that wouldn't be neccessary and that next month's payment would go through as per usual.
as for things being 'one after another', yep, they sure are! I'm currently into my 2nd month of working part time in a pub kitchen but it may well be that I have to go full time there because they are making 74 people redundant in my day job and that's out of 208 people so it's a big deal. I've been here for 4 years so it would be horrible if I were to lose my job, but no one's safe, regardless of your length of service. We'll find out over the coming weeks who's at risk and who isn't, just in time for christmas! thanks!
oh well, must soldier on, at least I do have the pub kitchen job to keep things ticking over and I do enjoy it so it's not all that bad.jusqu'ici tout va bien0 -
morning Guys
verry snowy here and I've been snowed in for 3 days so far, simply can't get out of the estate, gritters been around this morning and cleared a wee path down the middle of the road, but piled all the snow in front of the drive, which will have to be shovelled out the way to get the cars out!!! Very helpful and its snowing again!
Peeps, if creditors are not playing fair by adding on ridiculous amounts of interest and charges COMPLAIN to the FOS. Remember I did about Amex, they made them stop the interest right away, refund it to the account and gave me £50 for my trouble. The longer you don't do anything, the more these guys think they can get away with. They have to operate within the financial services guidelines and sometimes you have to make them! Its your debt, your in charge of getting it sorted and these guys should not hinder you, read the guidelines and follow it through with complaints if necessary. Its really simple, one phonecall was all it took for me.
Newbeginning, if CCCS doubled your payments and you can't afford it, don't let them do it cos its counterproductive, again they are there to help not make it impossible. It was CCCS's review which tipped us into UE, they were horrible and unreasonable and I just wasn't having it.
OK last telling off
Louby why are you still worrying about !!!!ing off creditors? You are doing your best to pay the pesky money back, make them pay fair or send them all a CCA request cos that shuts them up pronto, specially if its an old account, cos they know that that is a different ballgame.
OK rant finished, be care out there and chill (that should be the easy bit to-day).More than Two Years in

Afternoon all, totally agree with Dopey.
All mine have stopped interest (apart from BoS loan which is front loaded).
Only because I totally refused to accept anything otherwise.
Hassle them, keep hassling them, threaten them with the FSO and keep going until they relent, it may take time but they will eventually.
I also went through two CCs internal complaints dept which helped a lot. PPLBM Jan 2010. DFD 2016.
