  • I agree with what others have said re token payments. Unfortunately I had not been on these forums prior to us sending out token payments so sent £50 which obviously hasn't made the slightest difference apart from to us. We have car tax, mot & repairs to sort and nothing to do it with now. Hey ho you live and learn.

Also just had a c/a statement from Natwest showing a huge amount of interest & charges each month which is quite a bit more than we are paying them! What happens if they don't stop interest? Has that happened to anyone here? I have written personally but no acknowledgement of that letter. Should I keep writing asking them to stop? We are with Payplan.

    Thanks everyone X

Quick Quid...........the ones who can't read have passed my account to their debt management department and they are going to consider my case.

And will pursue me until the entire balance is paid off......

    All £302 of it.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH

Leave me alone! It's getting paid back and will be gone in four months, can they not use a calculator to work out how much i'm paying against how much I owe.

    Honestly, muppets they are.

Phone Payplan and ask them to contact them, also phone them yourself and explain the whole "how am I ever gonna pay the money back if you keep charging interest thing".
I had this with BoS and I just kept on at them until they agreed to freeze, so don't stop until you get what is right.
I threatened to involve the Financial Ombudsman and that was when they relented. It's a bit of a pain but most do stop eventually. PPP

    Hi

Just do as CCCS say and pay £1, its just showing a willingness to pay thats all. You've broken your agreement as it is so just stick with the £1 until your DMP is up and running.

Oh and don't cave into any pressure to pay more.

You've done the right thing in starting your DMP, it will settle down trust me.

Hi fortunePig yes totally agree with E2 £1 is fine.

Pay Day loan company number 1 vis there in house DCA, the one i've paid in full, have written to me demanding a further £27-00.

Well, as I said in my curt response.

Send me a full statement and I will consider the position but as far as i'm concerned its paid.

What made me laugh is that the "say" that they tried taking money from my Debit Card, the one thats been closed since May and has been since fully terminated by Santander.

They are priceless, they really are

  • Oh flipping eckkkkkkkkkkkk...... this months flipping budget has imploded. Received my final t-mobile bill which was meant to be £25 as i was on a freinds and family contract and apparently it ran out the month before mycontract ended so i have been charged a full month £40 smackeroonies so it has stuffed me up somewhat. Oh well!!

Any how looks like things are ticking along for you. Hope your good mama and getting on top of the housey stuff must be hard work! Hey Teds, mikon E2, PPP, and all news one!

On the other hand my little book is working well, i know exactly how much i have in my account as any bills are written down at the beginning of the month before they come out. Its also stopping me drawing money out. Well worth ago.

Other than that all quiet on the DMP front 5 months left to pay mum back then can start on the F & F saving as long as they keep accepting my DMP payments ..... fingers crossed!!

Happy DMP thoughts and hugs to all G x
  • notice today that the offer on barclays OD has been changed to pending instead of rejected on justabank (superb service I think) now that they have shipped it to a new dept...perhaps this is the way of things. Barclaycard are trying my patience pretending not to have received paperwork, again! I n the meantime, allow me to recommend Morrisons value peanuts (amazing value about 80p for 600g - good quality apart from one bag where they were all quite small)

    Hello

Well PayDay Loan number 3 have decided that "die to the severity of your arrears" (all £320) of it they have referred me to Mackenzie Hall.

Apparently this will seriously harm my credit rating for six years and I HAVE TO CONTACT THEIR OFFICE AS A MATTER OF URGENCY.

    Nope.

I'm sure I can deal with Mackenzie Hall and to be quite honest, even though its a pain, i'm looking forward to a fight over this.

All my huge creditors, the ones I owe £000's to, have all been great, even Santander eventually. The PayDay Loan companies, Quick Quid, Payday Uk and PayDay Express have been a right pain.

I think i'm going to make a formal complaint against them all actually as I think the PayDay industry has to be regulated to stop more fools like me falling into the trap. Even if my complaint doesn't help me personally it will add more power to the regulators elbow. Hopefully.

I will keep you updated on MH, i'm sure it will be threat after threat but, as i've said before, if they would just accept the payments the would be paid off by Christmas!
