Without a paddle... support for anyone starting a DMP in 2010 (part2)

I think its been so straight forward because I didn't make any payments through PayPlan - it would probably be very different if I had.
I'm so pleased, my hovering days are faaaaaaar behind me! I think I was more brave because I had to stay composed for DS otherwise he'd have probably started panicking too - he was worried enough when they strapped a gallon of water to the wire to help him go faster lol!

Hope you are all well. Long time no see. Sorry been busy working trying to pay the big debt off.
Does anyone know if I can send a telephone harassment letter to HSBC who are still calling me to pay. They have had all my paperwork since January (started DMP in January) but have not agreed or given to a debt agency yet.
I have complained in branch and recieved a letter saying sorry but it is procedure. Yes and my health is suffering!!! AHHH:mad:
Thanks

Hi Naughty,

Thankyou so much. I have emailed the "Service Improvement Officer" and told him to stop. However, I will post this letter today recorded to HSBC and CCCS. It's just a pain in the *5$$$. This is the one company that just wont get on with it. I just keep repeating myself and then the woman just hung up.
I don't know if I get a secret pleasure of giving them a good telling off down the phone, to read their notes before they call and annoy me!!! She beat me to it!!!
Have to go, I have a mystery shop to complete!!Live for Today, Nobody is guaranteed Tomorrow:happylove0 -
hi all, started DMP in july, my first payment was sent on the 1st of august, to CCCS, just recieved a letter from 1 of my creditors today from Natwest credit card, they basically wrote i have 14 days to pay my outstanding balance or they will refure me to DCA ,
whats my next step to reply to them with, do i send a template letter along the lines of i,m with CCCS on a DMP made my first payment on 1st of august so you should get it on or around the 25th of august, or is there a better template out there i can use? thanks in advance0 -
Evening All
had a really brutal first week back from camping bliss so am chilling with a wee glass of something. Nothing much happening but I do note a very unseemly rush by some creditors (RBS/Lloyds/BofS) to default us before the first 6 months are up. nasty pieces of work...............More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0 -
Evening folks, the DMP rollercoaster becomes even more bizarre, got a call today from BoS, unbelievable!!! They offered to default me and in return will off load all my CCs to their in house DCA with immediate effect, no interest or charges from now on!!! (again)
Quite extraordinary really, this is after talking to the Customer support dept, who seem to know what they are doing, as opposed to the dreaded 'Collections', who are just Facist b******s.
So if you are dealing with HBOS maybe this is the way to go?
Hope you all have a fab weekend, a relieved PPP.LBM Jan 2010. DFD 2016.

Hi everybody
Im 3 months into my DMP with CCCS and things are going well......However had problems getting my car to start this morning for like the 10th time this year! Its costing me a fortune to keep repairing!!! Its unreliable as i have a 9 month old and also need it to get to work and back,as does my partner. We still owe £1,900 to our finance provider. Is it possible for me to get part x and new finance out or is that a no no whilst on a dmp? I just dont see any other way to pay for a car......:(Time to stop wasting money and start saving some!! :T0 -

Just a quickie from me folks. Hope you are all looking forward to the weekend. I'm soooooooo loving updating my signature every month, going to be a good count down to DFD, yippee. And Wow 2 stars, when did I get the second? Grinning from ear to ear, oh how life changes!
Choc - you can but you will need to proove to CCCS why you need it. I had mega gremlins with car but touch wood it seem to be ok for now. It's like this, no car, no job, no money for dmp so considered essential expense but you need approval in advance and you wont get much more than a 2 wheeler! Good luck HHx0 -
