    Helloooooooo
Tidytidy tidycleancleancleanwashwashwash, thats it all day, hope your's has been more fun!
On dmp front DH's santandurrrr CC statement came, with interest on it.........he phoned, didn't have to get my big stick out either(for him) they said interest would be cancelled 14 days after the first payment via cccs....which was a few days ago and before the statement date, but they assured him it would be removed so we'll wait and see. Its definitely a case of check your statements. It was fab to see the mbna ones with the humongous amounts actually come down though all be it a wee bit!:j

Sorry of no help Prof - I'd be inclined to hold tight for now regarding the CCA - see what they say about your DMP first.

Indeed Mama, the whole CCA thing also seems a bit too good to be true. Frankly, I still haven't got my head around it, but it does seem to involve an awful lot of additional stress on top of DMP anxiety.
If after 6 months or so a creditor or two is still charging interest then maybe...................

    Hi guys

I knew you wouldn't mind :D. I think there are new posters who really benefit from seeing the practicalities of being on a DMP. Whilst I, or anyone giving advice, can tell someone not to worry and things will be fine its really nice for new posters to see other people going through the same things as them at a similar time.

Now you are hidden over on diaries I might keep sending people across - you have been warned!!:D

Nataz and all of you this is a great thread ;):T

now I was going to post some wackos for you all but cannot find a picture on google images - imagine that - so instead you'll have to make do with cake

I think if people read the state most of us were in when we first began to post in Natz thread, they will easily see how good it is for support and information.:T:T:T:T:T and how much confidence we gain from the friendly support. I have found it incredibly useful and very amusing:rotfl: at times. Be it from the info about banks and what ones to go for, to the letters that can be used and Aldi trolleys and now holiday advice. I'm lucky, in a way, that I only have myself to worry about on the DMP so the support and lives of my fellow paddlers is great.

  • Thankyou Mama,

Your right. Quiet is good. Just received my statement from Santandurrr and they are not charging interest and accepting payments and the total is going down just for how long would be nice to know!..

I think quite a few wait until they actually see a DMP payment on your account, I suppose people say they are going to do a DMP then they don't. Egg did this to us but they have stopped all interest now. Must list these numerous creditors of ours and say who the bampots were and who weren't. The nice and naughty list:eek::eek:

been to the vet and doggy is cured, on £138.91 down on that one:eek::eek:

  • Don't worry too much Jeddy, a lot of ours never corresponded at all, just cancelled the interest and took the payments, MBNA didn't accept as such but took the money and cancelled interest, so it may be OK. keep chilled and fingers and toes crossed.
