BEAT THE DEBT
Car insurance should not be a problem as it is not credit. If you pay monthly it is like pay and go so if you do not pay they will stop the insurance. This applies also to home insurance so I would not worry.

Hi everyone
Ruined Fathers Day as I was depressed about CITI and their antics. Sent letters off to their Chief Exec today recorded delivery asking him to intervene and support me with reducing the debt I owe his company. Spoke with CCCS they do not seem that concerned not sure if they are as good as I thought all they really want to do is be the go between for paying the money. They did say they would write and ask for the interest to be frozen again but could not promise anything. I am on a bit of a downward spiral at the moment. Sitting here now I just wonder if it is worth continuing with this DMP.
Regards

Hi Mikon
I got a bit like that, suppose I still am really after Santander nonesense, but I keep thinking. Whats the alternative? Bankruptcy and lose my professional status, IVA and the same? Go back to struggling to pay each month?
There isn't one for me, no alternative at all. Most of my creditors are playing ball, as I think are yours, so lets just hang in there and see how the next few weeks go. After all we are in this for a long time not just the next few days. A DMP is for life not just for.....

Like you there is not an alternative. So like you I will have to learn to live with it and SUMO (such up move on). I will ensure that I never bank with this company again.
Believe it or not I got a letter from EGG asking if I wanted a Credit Card. Guess who owns EGG yes believe it or not CITI Group. Obviously my name is not blackened yet.
Left hand does not know what right hand is doing.
Trying to keep my chin up.
Thanks E2

I saw your post on the other DP thread Mikon, seems others go through the same b)(*£&£& with some creditors. I'm hoping things will settle down after they all receive the first payment.
Fingers crossed anyway.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

Professor Pat Pending.
I have made my first payment to CCCS on the 1 June and I understand they are allocating the money to my creditors on the 26th June.
Hope you are well.

I think you might find that SCHITI will freeze interest and charges as soon as they receive the first payment, that's what they did with me. Here's hoping, keep your chin up. Regards. PPLBM Jan 2010. DFD 2016.
