BEAT THE DEBT
Creditors treat individual diffrently. So do not worry, wait and see what happens. If you cancel the DMP what are the other options you have available. It will not be easy I can tell you that from first hand experience but you do get stronger and wiser. Look at what CITI are doing to me. Weeks ago and people on here will agree I was in a right state but now I am taking the banks on. I have even gained knowledge in this field. Please do not cancel thats what the creditors want. Stick at it become stronger and remember this:-
THEY CANNOT HAVE WHAT YOU HAVE NOT GOT
Keep your chin up and do not give in. Each individual is different.

LBM April 2010. DMP Start June 2010 - 11% of debt paid at June 11 to 11 creditors

Tidied my file up today.
1 large folder with 10 subfolders for each creditor. Each piece of correspondence is then filed in date order and each folder has a sheet on the front which I record all telephone contacts on and a brief outline of the discussion. This diary will be used as evidence in the event of a telephone harassment letter being sent. I also record the name of the individual i am speaking to and if security questions have been asked to ensure they are speaking to the right person. Its amazing once your in debt how some companies do not bother asking security questions it as if they are not bother anymore.
PS I also have an encrypted folder on my hard drive to store all letters I send.
Off to watch the match now come on England.

Hiya everyone
Im currently on a DMP with CCCS and my second paymen is due to go out on the 1st July. However we are moving house next week and need some extra money to carpet and decorate new house. is it worth telling CCCs this and seeing if they can reduce payment for one month or is it really not worth the hassle???Time to stop wasting money and start saving some!! :T0 -

Hi chocolates, it might cause some of your creditors to withdraw acceptance if you pay less than they were offered, so early into the DMP. I had some trouble with a couple of mine simply because they had an earlier due date than the CCCS payment, resulting in extra charges, a lot of hassle IMO. Hope that helps!Paddle no. 12

Thankyou for your reply. I did think that but just dont see how we're going to manage. Most of my creditors have accepted and frozen interest so probably best i dont rock the boat.Time to stop wasting money and start saving some!! :T0 -
